Rusko's Babylon vol 1 and stuff like skreams pass the red stripe, coki's remix of mavado, first dubstep track I heard was night... a year on, and I'm slowly building the record collection up
Dark angel, fall from the heavens above, send me an angel to heal my heart from being in love... After all of the love for you, in my life, but it wasn’t good enough for you, I can’t take no more tears from my eyes.... But it wasn’t good enough for you, I can't take no more hurt from that time....

Dub: Harry J All Stars with "Liquidator" (on an old mixtape my mate did for me)

Step: SLT Mob with "Tinji" (off the "Grime" launch night live recording from 05)
This is neither time or the place.

The first album me mum and dad bought me as a nipper was Pass the Dutchie by Musical Youth, you could say i've been into the bass since then!

as for dubstep, i saw the Digital Mystikz support Fat freddy's drop down in Brixton a few years ago and was utterly blown away

then for the rest of the weekend had one of my London mates go on about how utterly mental this sound was, good times :D

First time I heard dubstep was a Valve vs Hospitality night in Birmingham about 18 months ago - so I'm not sure what the tune was, but it was a Rustie set - siiiick as!

First tune I listened to and knew, was Marlow - Scum... been involved ever since, and still love that tune!

It was a track from Burial's Untrue album, not sure which one though. It might've been Archangel.

Yup me too. I think some stuff by L-Wiz, King Soly and N-Type that I didn't know was dubstep at the time also encouraged me to explore similar sounds.

Before I'd even heard the word "dubstep" or knew what a dubstep beat was, I really dug the themesong to the new Grand Theft Auto game. Its not a big club tune but definitely dubstep nonetheless.

Not having anything other than Top 40 clubs (barf) in Honolulu, I don't really care much about a sick wobble or dancey beat, because I'll (almost) never hear dubstep music in a club here. I just want music that transports me to a different dimension, not music that helps me feel like one of the cool kids at school.

first time i heard dubstep i was playin video games in my room really baked. i had been lookin through the various radio stations in itunes in the electronic section and came across cyba radio, and a set was playin called Big o- 02.11.08(still remember it to this day) . I was literally amazed at some of the songs he was playin as they had a real hip hop feel to them, something ive never really heard in electronic music. when some of the songs came on my mouth literally dropped open in amazement. 1 song i particularly remember doing this to was that 1 song with the sample that goes "oh my mind, oh my mind watcha gonna do" or somethin like. and when skream - filth came mixed over it i was flipping out!!! fun times. most excited ive ever gotten over listening to any type of music deffinately. another 2 songs i tripped balls when i heard was caspa - wheres my money, and headhunter - drop the waste. and a bunch of others i still havent found there names to this day. i instantly went on google and typed in the set name and surely enough found it at cyba radio, found its genre was called "dubstep" something i had never heard about at the time, and since then have been going mad trying to get my hands on as much dubstep as possible. and i still listen to that big o set all the time, its probly one of the best dubstep sets ive dl'd to this day
