I've got a white "7" above the horseshoe which is around my elbow, I get so many of my friends still even now saying "oh shit, I didn't even notice that" or random people saying "is that a scar" lolhera wrote:i've been thinking about getting a white tattoo.
I think it looks pretty nice, but it's personal opinion I guess

This is an example of a a really shit tribal tattoo that the majority of dickheads in the UK will go for, you know the ones.
Ya, that kinda stuff is fucking terrible - devoid of any meaning or artistic merit IMHO, but each to their own I s'pose, everyone's taste is different!
any chance you have a picture of it?L5D wrote:I've got a white "7" above the horseshoe which is around my elbow, I get so many of my friends still even now saying "oh shit, I didn't even notice that" or random people saying "is that a scar" lolhera wrote:i've been thinking about getting a white tattoo.

Traditional polynesian tattoos are done with a stick and bone. They hurt like fuck cos they're supposed to and 'tattoo' from the Samoan word 'tatau' is probably only one of 2 words which have their roots in polynesian language. The other being 'tapu', anglicised to 'taboo' meaning sacred.
I got 2. One which took 6 days, 8 hrs a day covers 2 thirds of my body and almost killed me. And another, a necklace type both done traditionally.
Where it hurt most is inside thigh. Imagine lying spread eagled, face up on a floor while 2 burly islanders stretch your skin and a third hammers a fine tooth comb made from bone and dipped in god knows what into your soft fleshy inside thigh

But I gotta get past tattoo 2 first - which is a personal design i SHOULD be getting done by the end of the summer.
I have one on my forearm in Hindi which says "Kyshatri," meaning Warrior/Ruler - They were the Kings and Queens of ancient India.

Had a wee fling with this girl for a bit and she had the most amazing tattoos I have ever seen and she designed them all her self. I am going to delete the pic shortly as it is not fair of me to post her pic with out permission but her the one on her arm....... god I love it!
