Also, what is that tune at around the 20 min mark with the female vocals...absolutely ridiculous tune, shows k.m. can do soulful as well as evil.

Agree with most of the stuff they said.

But! whats this about people under 25 wanting to just get off their heads on pills? i'm 16, and I do however enjoy that, but I prefer to go to Exodus and skank. Seemed like he was tarnishing all the young uns with the same brush. sigh.
Nar it's not that. There's 16 year old kids who don't even listen to Dubstep obviously. It's just the demographic and what's happened. It's a fact

It don't mean that all 16 year olds are on pills
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

That has to be one of the most interesting and insightful interviews I have ever read. Absolutely loving all of Kryptic Minds tunes as well.

cant wait for the album to drop.

the standard of quality of the output kryptic minds put out has really stood out for me. i can honestly say there isnt a single tune of theres i dont like, so with that the album will be a classic piece for sure.

in a time where wobble seems to have taken the light its really exciting to see them bring their take on the sound to the table and revive that dark halfstep a bit.

Ive been a doubter. But I read this interview and put the mix on and have been swayed a bit. The interview is HUGE (as in good and long) big ups blackdown for that was an interesting insight. The first half of the mix is ridiculous, the tune that drops at 35mins is great, militant and moody tune.second half of the mix not so keen on all the distorted bass noises and metallic aesthetic etc. The levels of production are shockingly good though, seems to allow a real talented use and placement of sound.

Gosh,

absolutely blown away by this interview & mix. Will be listening to it on many late night cab journeys home from work.

Have nothing but sheer respect for Loefah. Refreshing to see his uncompromising attitude to developing new sounds and how it connects to the whole Reinforced/Metalheadz thing that was going on back in the day.

Swamp 81 = already so much love for this label.
