I just went totally backwords with my new laptop. I mostly use my laptop for djing with. Torq doesn't support multi-cores and it's freakin USB1! I bought a new Presario for 350 bucks from Breast Buy. Torq now works 100x better than it did in my dual core lappy for about one third the price. No more cooling issues either. And why are you guys producing on laptops anyway? I still rock the tower in the studio. Couldn't be happier. And my little USBII two in / four out box works great. Even if I had 24 channels I wouldn't use it. My only outboard gear is my turntables, sometimes a mic.
