Seeing Music (patterns and colours)

yeah shapes and kind of patterns, the colours seem more kind of connected to the mood of the track, its not is if i see colours in the sense that its blocking my view of the mixer or vinyl or whatever tho

ive worked out how i experience music, imagine like almost different waves of water or sound, all kind of going in different directions and changing movements etc. its kind of hard to explain lol

Synesthesia is basically yr senses getting mixed up. so tho yre listening to music, yr brain processes it as smell or sight or something. i have mild Synesthesia, like a lot of people here it seems. i see music as color and shape. it actually helps me, when composing, to make shapes with my hands, like pretending to mold clay, to better figure out the sound i want. i look like a dork, but it works. thank god for home studios.
