rubberdub is also sposed to be starting back up in september, used to head down there regularly so theres plenty to do in notts

also I'm the opposite, I tend to listen to jump upy stuff at home but can appreciate the more mellowy stuff live when theres enough sub power around
Ive been to rubberdub once and loved it, i then found it it was literally a few minutes walk from my future student accomodation and loved it more. Then the place gets fucking shut down and I think town centres quick a treck from where I'll be living. Coincidently, whats Radford like for you Notts heads? Ive heard its pretty grim but im not fussed, as long as theres decent fried chicken close.

Yeah I try not to hang about in Radford if I can help it,

Not sure where rubberdubs gonna move to, just someplace else.

I didn't know it was because blueprint got shut down though, how did that happen, or do I not need to ask? lol

If you already love the sound before hearing it on a proper system, you need to get yourself out to a dance...proper subbass pressure has to be felt!

Last night I put down the brockage and just settled for getting delightfully crunked up instead.

when i found the sound i quite hastily made it a priority to secure a proper sound rig so i could really get into it.

i spent the first year with two dynaudio bm 15a's planted six inches from my face through my introduction to the stuff.

now i have a 1000 watt peavey 1.3k anf two 15" harbinger hx151's that seem to do the trick

and when the wife's asleep, the sennheiser's get the job done

tl;dr - i have no need to leave my house, really

Uh... You're bad at the whole "club system" concept.

SORRY to get on the quoting vibe. but seriously dubstep club systems are amazing. it sounds like you really have a good set up anyway. but its all about the energy and stopping for a second and looking around, realising everyone is dancing/wobbling differently but all at exactly the same tempo. its a unique experience unlike any other music in clubs.
