Most of the raves I have been to have been a very friendly and most venues have a very welcoming feel but in perhaps the last 6 months or so some of the events I have attended have attracted a certain clientele.

You do get the odd person who cant control there drink and seem to bring the DnB attitude with them but Why Not especially seemed to be full of coked up 'bruvs' who were walking around with a permanent screw face and didnt feel no way about barging through the crowds with little or no respect.

I was with some 'veterans' on the scene who also agreed that this new crowd didnt feel right and that the night didnt feel as relaxing or comfortable even thought they have done it many many times before. And without us trying to sound like im pointing blame it seemed like those new crowds seemed to be attracted to dubstep by 2 names in particular...in fact i lost count of how many times I heard those names being mentioned that night as though no other djs existed.

Hah ive never been to a Grime rave, cause lets be honest, 90% probably want it to kick off so they can draw for the shank and show what badmen they are. Majority of DnB fans want to have a good time and just rave, but it also brings a lot of coked up twats purposely barging into people hoping they react.

The grime raves i went to back in my hoodie days were full of serious attitude, people standing around the sides posing and looking mean and people on the dance floor uncontrolably shocking out and waiting for the man next to them to beef about it. The amount of times someone wanted to try and grab the mic too was ridiculous. Saying that thought the people I went there with werent much different really...
