@esfandyar i like the pops etc at the beginning before the break comes in, think you should incorporate them more into the tune and have less of the break, IMO anyways. like the low passed reece thing and the atmos is cool, pretty sci fi sounding

been working on this, inspired by clearlights latest mix in a way. do you guys think its loud enough? need feedback on the mix etc before i do nything with it...

definitely going for the scifi sound. thanks for the feedback, i will probably pull back on the breaks a touch, i want to put a phase modulator on some of the pads im thinking as well.

Not really looking for feedback, just posting this here as I haven't made anything new for a while. I used to be Y-chrome, now I'm Novacoda. You heard it here first!

Yeah, way to make a big announcement... In a thread in a secret board on a fairly obscure forum. Just how I roll.

:4:

However, really looking forward to going through the 100 or so pages of music that I've missed in this thread, found so much quality in here in the past :U:

@explodingman

i don't like the kick and the buss compression is a little clumsy i think

but the vibe is good and that's the hard part

although tbh im shit at mixdowns so there's a chance i dont really know what im talking about :lol:

Hey man, thanks for the listen, thats some nice feedback about the buss compression, i didn't even really think about it too much but you're right.

I thought the kick was kinda ok i dunno, its mainly there to just give some higher fq's to the sort of main bass/kick but yeah idk lol.

Thanks again for the reply though man, really appreciate it!

feelin it, only thing id say is i feel like that percussion is itching to come out further up into the mix, maybe adjust the levels so the hats and snares are louder
sub sounds fat too

heres something weird i been working on, feedback would be really useful as ive hit a wall with it i guess, altho it is more or less done
also i feel like sending this to some radio djs or something since i feel like it has that kinda weird bass music vibe sorta like the whole 130 scene
but i have no idea what djs to send it to since its at 140 and not 130 so any ideas wud be cool :cornlol:

sounds dope man. would maybe consider slower build ups - like longer and even more gradual to keep it a bit more minimal - but it's cool as it already is.
