Cheers for the feedback! Here's mine...

@lman: It's a start, but there's hardly any sub, it needs some hihats, and the drums wanna be way louder...

@JBE: really like your sub and the overall vibe. The first one loses direction a bit at 1:54, not quite sure if it's kicked in or or not... maybe leave out the kick and bass til the actual drop at 2:03?

@DrBio: not usually my kinda thing, but I quite like how energetic this is. I think it definitely works well at 155bpm or whatever, and at this tempo the drop gives the kinda saccharine intro a lot more purpose. Nice samples too.

Any suggestions?

I am sort of on the fence whether I want to keep in the realms of a Scuba or Burial style track or if I want it to go into something heavy hitting.

Thanks for the feedback.

Lman: I really liked your intro, but the drop and the bass were kinda disappointing.. the drop just came out of nowhere and the bass kinda lacked power, thats my suggestion for your track.

futurist: I love the flow, stick to that don't go do anything heavy. I suggest bringing in a swinging drumloop, the one you have now is good for an intro but you do need a decent drumloop for the rest of your track.

baaan: I didn't really like the track as it is..., just because there's like nothing arranged yet. I hear that you're full of idea's and if you put em in a straight line you'll get the track you want out of it. but as it is now you just start with a melody and random throw stuff in it.. My idea of what you have now that is :D

Got an update on my latest track, looked into some of the feedback and here's the result:

Holler at me brethren... I'm new to dubstep (like 3 months in) and I'm brand new to this forum. Reading through a bunch of the posts makes me feel like an infant - sounds like most of you know what you're doing. Anyways, I'm hoping that my intro to this forum will spark my interest even more and sharpen my skills. Any comments will do obviously... even the shit ones. Thanks guys. Here ya go...

@ThePolymerDrone: Just sick, I have no idea what else you could do on it, If it were mine I'd call it a finished tune I think o_O

@Venture: pretty Good track, But I feel lack of punchyness in the kick (EQ?), and at some points I think the hats are a bit too loud in the mix, or atleast sound very sharp to my ear. Thats all I have to say actually :3

@HiFoO: Its a good track, But i really dislike the piano int he beginning and somewhere around halfway, and at the very end. but thats only because I dont like the melody,(even tho it fills in the mood youre going for in the song pretty good) the melody that follows after sounds great. Also, The ending sounds a bit abrupt to me haha.. Maybe try putting something of a reverb or delay on the end? That way it'll sound smoother at the end. (Mayhaps be another matter of taste tho.)

Here is something I am working on now, Started it today, far from done, but would like some opinions on it :3 (I know the intro issn't too exciting, bit boring actually, but Im working on that ;] probably going to put in a voice sample as well)

ive been working on...something. Im not 100% sure where it came from or where its going, but im liking elements of it and reckon theres a nice tune in there somewhere. Ive overlistened it though and dont trust my judgement that much atm!

Its very much in progress, with a few ideas without too much progression just kind of lumped in at the end, but would love anyones thoughts on it...

Feedback needed, and appreciated! Will return the favor once I off my work computer
made this yesterday, it's not quite dubstep YET... it will be though... it's just a tribal style loop right now... i'm going to record some didgeradoo then use it as a waveform to make the bass wobble... going for a kind of tribal-dubstep sub-genre kind of thing
