Amazing week in croatia, literally one of the best in my life.

The drunk Chavs who shat everywhere need a bullet. Went to have a game of paintball on the field up the top of the camp grounds (that was us having a shoot on Sunday Afternoon for those who watched) and had to remove human shit from the field before hand. Not cool. Plenty of loos around, just general feralness/lazyness/disrespect for the locals from punters

Apart from that gripe was so absoltely amazing and will be flying all the way from NZ to check it again.

Photos and vids/interviews going up here: .

Outlook was great, some really funny times.
Was working the first night 1am - 7am at mungos arena, but got to see the Bug and Heatwave, so wasn't too bad at all! (The heatwave smashed it!). Met some lovely people whilst on my shift, bless 'em. Saw David Rodigan before working, and he was really good. Gentlemen's Dub Club were also good, Logan Sama was sick, Plastician was so-so
Friday was was working again :( which was poo, and I missed the DMZ night which has really really upset me because I missed them last year and I haven't even been to a DMZ night in London!!!! But I did go on the Rinse boat which I think was really fun, but I kinda don't remember (my friends and I sneaked a bottle of brandy on the boat and got absolutely fucked).
Saturday was by far my favourite day! Skream & Plastician Booze Cruise was proper funny! Plastician passed out, Skream couldn't even talk. Sgt. Pokes was just a joker trying to pour rum in everyone's drinks. Played some good cheesy music, I couldn't stop laughing for the whole boat party. Definitely one of my highlights of the festival. Shogun was sick, Icicle b2b Alix Perez, Rockwell, sick sick sick. Tore myself away to see Oneman, who was soooooo fucking goood. My favourite set of the festival. The Moat in general was a great arena. Got on the laughing gas, which was an experience!
Sunday, I missed Skream's set. Umm, I remember seeing Shy FX which was good, Friction was great. Caught the end of Girl Unit's set. MJ Cole was supposed to come on afterwards, but instead it was Skream vs Hatcha? I don't really remember much after that.

Had a really good time, but not as good as last year, not as good vibes, a different sort of people this year, not really as friendly. I doubt I'll go next year. But if you've never been I would still wholeheartedly recommend it. It is the best festival of its kind. Big up the Outlook team for all your hard work!

Just got home after the Italy strike nightmare plus the usual post-Outlook Coughs, Wheezes and Sniffles. Generally had a good time, met up with loads of people I knew and didn't know. Highlight of the festival for me was the Tectonic Boat as always, that was pure hilarity. Most impressive set was probably T_! with his 3 deck mixing (with a 4th on the go at one point), everyone I told about it was gutted they'd missed that. Was not overly enthused by the DMZ set but Goth-Trad/Vivek rescued the night for me. There were quite a few things I didn't like about the festival but I'll leave that for a more long-winded write-up when I've recovered a bit, best to keep the good vibes flowing for a while. Will post up some pics too once I've gone through them, took a lot more this year than I normally do.

managed to catch 10 minutes of Dublokes set. It was dope but the dungeon isn't made for music thats for sure

also does anybody know an mc called something along the lines of Tom Piper or something?
he gave his card to the croatian girl in the bakery at the campsite which led to her stearing at the ocean looking like she was in love and asking "in your caountry, is he rich maaan?" and making me wait forever to get some food.

met so many nice people down there though. English people are so fucking polite compared to danish people - dont know if any of them are on here, but if you met a danish guy with a Quiet Life cap and a red adidas t-shirt it was me 8)

also am I the only one dissapointed by the sound at almost every stage execpt mungo's arena and outside the arena? all the others did not make my chest rattle.

hessle v swamp soundclash was literally one the best bits of the festival for me! hatcha playing a decent garage set on vinyl and not touching that stupid effect thing that he seems to have fallen in love with, zed bias being zed bias, oneman drawing for 15 minutes of pure soul and motown classics, ben ufo, pangaea and pearson on top form with mixing and selection as always, loefah being completely battered and chunky on top form all on 2 massive systems in the shade with a sea breeze and only about 25 people watching. Also ICU audio in the little beach bar playing for about 4 hours was so much fun. Drunk one of those massive JD and cokes on the deep medi boat and pretty much wrote off the rest of the night which was kind of shitty.

We obviously did not get the same bus home. 37 fucking hours. The tire blew out in italy and we almost crashed. Waited an hour for that shit to get fixed then the suspension broke in France. Waited 4 hours for that. Eventually got into London at 9.30pm, missing my megabus back to scotland. Got another one, ended up in scotland at 9.45am. Fucking ughghghgh man I still dont even feel human right now.

had the time of my life until i fell into the moat (not the stage) while being a bit battered. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... =1&theater was pretty painful to say the least, and i couldnt physically dance after, which sucked. but still, amazing amazing. anyone on the hessle party remember when chunky pulled it when ben ufo was halfway through a mix and ben ufo got well angry at him ? haha.

Some flights weren't much better. Italy went on strike on Tuesday and most flights out of Italy were cancelled. Ryanair had no flights out of Trieste till next week and the earliest flight they could rebook people on to was on Friday. No one available to help at the airport, people had to sort out new travel plans themselves. It took our bunch about 5 hours of calls and internet searches on phones to find a flight out of Italy on Wednesday. We'd initially wanted to train it up to Paris for the Eurostar, but it turned out that would've been a bad decision because France is on strike now.

Took us 24 extra hours to get back to London. Now have to get on the travel insurance claims etc.

Took me a total of 57 hours to get home. I cannot even be fucked to pursue this bullshit. I still don't even feel 100% here right now, Croatia raped me.
