um, i dunno... theres one guy named soulja boy, pluralizing it is suspect imho.

lol, but, you havent... COULD you? i mean, i stay positive, but...

Aftee wrote:I would probably actually like that track. Should have accredited the right heads as well, then I'd give the man some props.

Did he do any of that or attempt to?

No.
there is a big giant Chase & Status drop right at the beginning of the tune, wtf are you on about?

human? wrote: how do you think you heard about dubstep to begin with?

because the artists who created the sounds put effort into marketing, promotion, marketing & marketing with their money and LIVE artists who deserve money.
uhh...not so much in dubstep. Sorry. Most of the tracks I listen to are actually made by people around the forums and some other dudes I find. Tracks that I search long and hard for.

Sorry but I don't think somebody out of a bedroom setup is putting thousands of dollars to promote their track that 20 people or so in total will download.
i wasnt "swinging and missing" at you dude, im TELLING you that alot of hard work and effort and love and money, AND marketing and promotion have gone into making this music spread the way it has.

if most the tracks you listen to are made by people on forums why do you even care at all what chase & status are doing?

and yes, many people have put many thousand of dollars into promoting their sounds and vibes, that is alot of the time why people have heard of them and nobody has heard of you.

get your grind on man, stop hating, and go make something better...

you can go from nothin and get somethin, real spit 8)

that's funny, I don't think it does I know it does

it doesn't have an annoying ass hook, the vocals are not super loud, and I give credit and links to the producers and rappers in the said mix. It's also not the most played out fucking dubstep tune. It's nothing but marketing in that track and your dumbass fell right into it like a mother fucker

also, the vocals are on beat the whole way through. You make me giggle.

no, trying to make meaning out of something that is meaningless and put out for money and market techniques and promotion is reading too closely. You have CLEARLY missed the ENTIRE point of me bringing soulja boy up, so please just stop bringing it back up in quotes because you missed the whole point that I was trying to make.

Now go hop on the bandwagon and listen to this shit for the next 5 months as it gets this chase and status track overplayed MORE...they are stabbing at the decayed and charred fucking bones of a track, great job

i am SUCH a bandwagon hopper !! lol...

yo, its not meaningless at all, its actually a well crafted storyline, Snoops rags to riches story using the slum dog millionare vibes that are big... i dont see whats the problem, it even gives the chase & status tune a context, altho i still dont know wtf the sample is saying... at least now the whole eastern vibe has a storyline to give it context...

anyways, its cool, you obviously dont want to hear it, you should chill with the jealousy thing tho... with fans like you, who needs enemies and so on.....

no, you're annoying and stupid

what's happening at 2:45 in my mix? thats called on-beat bud

idk what the fuck your ears have trained you to, but the vocals are on mix throughout that entire mix, each bar is cut seperately and adjusted, and the tempo is the same

so don't try to step to me and act like I don't know what i'm doing

I've been fucking with dj shit and producing since I was 12 years old, now stop defending this utter shit and hop off my nut sack because I don't like it and am smart enough to see it's nothing but marketing and promotion for other groups

yeh, you are mad smart, mixing lil wayne a milli on somebody elses dubstep tune in jan 2009 is GENIUS compared to Snoop actually writing a song to chase & status' beat...

no! you are annoying and stupid!!!! lol... so since you were 12 huh? was that like a year ago? your argument techniques are a fail....

nothin you say changes the fact that snoop murdered it on this one.. if you want industry enemies, go start threads about scion & redbull or some shit...
