Dunno about that, in the 50s and 60s a number of scientists pariticipated in a trial which had them drop acid and work on a problem. Long story short, it helped, and if I recall correctly it had something to do with the way LSD de-schematizes the brain, giving you a fresh look at things, and while many people do blow that out of proportion, there is some truth to the benefits of dug abuse.Agent 47 wrote:ive done trips a fair bit and that shit is there if you want to play on it in your mind
but in no way is it strong enough to change you whole view on shit, or keep believing it once you sober up ffs![]()
these people just want an interesting story to tell and use drugs as an excuse

that wouldn't be drug abuse. that would be drug use. very important difference.jesslem wrote:and while many people do blow that out of proportion, there is some truth to the benefits of dug abuse.

Even if you're just getting high for a good time, you're using, only difference is the reason. So the two words are essentially interchangeable.
And it's considered abuse to use Ritalin to do better at school.

In fact, I reckon that treating anything as a means to an end is what the word abuse actually refers to.

They also use LSD for ppl with severe PTDS and the results are, from what i heard and read, very positive. But drugs doesn't change your life. In the case of LSD it can give you perspectives and boost your creativity, but that's not always the case.jesslem wrote:Dunno about that, in the 50s and 60s a number of scientists pariticipated in a trial which had them drop acid and work on a problem.
