Thanks man

yeah I'm gonna change that kick, I started making the tune with headphones in and it sounded alright but listening through my monitors the kick sounds rubbish
really liking your bit mate, sounds really nice, I like the glitchy looseness of the percussion, gives the tune a nice swing

ez, lyeform. sounds to me like a bit faster dubstep. 10bpm is kind of not enough of a change/variation to make it feel fresh and new imho. especially because i usually play all dubstep around +3 to +4bpm in the dance.

maybe if you removed that halfstepping feel to it , it would get a whole new feel!
up for a short time

That's big phrex.
I can't help but feel the Pev addition seems thrown in as an after though though.
It works because we all know it and love it but does it really work?
Still a great tune though.

No I made an error sorry lol
I meant the pev bit.
My mistake.
It's not that I don'tlike the tune but the pev addition seems like an after thought?

Ey up lads,
Just starting to dabble wi some mic stuff, getting into the MC things. Finding it hard but enjoying it, wondering if any of the ninjas are doing this DIY and up for bumping heads/sharing any advice etc? Not in a position to invest in too much killer gear at the mo. After tips on practice, methods, techniques and the production side... Just some chat tbh.

Yeah. Just get a pop/spit -filter for the mic - even recording through headphones can sound acceptable imo.
A clean recording is never what you want imo

not feeling the vocal chops from 36 secs onwards Ray, (the stuttering j-j-j-j-james is nice, but not the rest), rest is tight as usual
