Tuesday is the worst day of the week.

Monday everyone is back at work, but have the memories of the weekend fresh in their mind, can swap anecdotes etc
Wednesday is the midway point, once you've over that it's easy
Thursday is nearly Friday
Friday is the start of the weekend

Tuesday got fuck all going for it.

I have most Tuesdays off, except for the odd week when I'm off on Saturday, those are the one's where I really struggle

Yeah most Tuesdays I work from home but today I've got a couple of people off so thought it better to come in. Not going too bad so far, though I've had slightly more biscuits than I would've liked.

The Australian situation is getting unbearable. Not only is he one of the most annoying people I've ever had the misfortune to be forced to sit next to; not only is he King of the half hour story that everyone's twigged was bullshit after the first 20 seconds, he's also disturbingly enthusiastic about everything I ever fucking do. I bought a new pair of trainers a month or so ago... he came in last week wearing the same pair in a different colourway. I started getting the boat to work, now he gets the boat to work. Now he's come in this morning saying he's going to view a flat IN MY BUILDING tonight.

I have no idea how I can make it more clear that one of the main reasons I go home is TO GET AWAY FROM HIM.

Fuck. Feels like my castle is under siege. Maybe I'll just stand on the balcony with a vat of boiling oil when he comes for his viewing. Cunt.

Pist! is there a way to search threads by date?

damn, this thread moves really fast, here's another paragraph of psycho-babble...

The context of everything I say has lost it's rightful validity and for that I am PIST.
Language is a tool, an art, to declare something is to make it real, and yet I'm absurdly surprised about the things I say, insanity is amazing, and I wouldn't understand otherwise, but flipping the DSF sketch book back a couple pages and it's painfully obvious, I have an incalculable amount of remorse.

Talent is priceless, but it could've been so good, if only the music was just the music, and it spoke for itself, no press, no politics, just allow the music to be the incentive to wake up in the morning and let that be that. To wake up and just be who you are for a living. Use your real name and just be.

Then maybe

You can travel to and from work with him. Not to mention, with favourable flat positioning, you'll get to hear the regular symphony of whatever dirty sket he's smashing that night.

I genuinely don't know whether to laugh or just start smashing his stuff up. I just said word for word "I can't think of anything worse than bumping into someone from work at home" and he laughed as if I was joking, so I just stared back blankly. I'm not joking you fucking twunt. There's housing for 8 million people in this city and you have to choose the same building as the person you sit next to every day?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that when you moved into your new flat, you made mention at work of how wonderful/cheap/lavish it was? He's obviously taken it on board as a recommendation.

You've no one to blame here but yourself.

He wasn't here when I moved in, but we have noticed that every time anyone says anything is good he'll go out and buy it. I'm going to start bigging up mercury pills and emigration.
