the testosterone onrush,
worked out which of his needs have priority
and how much he's prepared to have others suffer
for him to have what he wants.
Then, years later,
realizing his self-centredness doesn't make him happy;
examines what does
accepts that he needs to change
and struggles to remain honest to himself in the process.
Eventually he realizes that he is,
always was, ok
and consciously takes responsibility for his actions
to become a man.
