Listening now, it's pretty good. Surprising, quite uptempo.

ok just finished listening to the whole tune, it's good but it seems Burial doesn't know how to make a "normal" tune anymore, there's always like 2 or 3 parts sounding totally different from each other in every new tune haha.

Basically it totally switches at around the 4 minute mark, then once again 40 seconds later or so.

At first listen it does sound a lot better than the tunes on his latest Hyperdub EP though, imo.

This new Burial is mad. Loving it. Giving me strong "Those levels on Crash Bandicoot where you have to ride a warthog and outrun an enemy" vibes. Like if Crash Bandicoot was riding in a VW Golf and he had to outrun depression or something.

was about to say gareth, sounds like some n64/ps1 type business

giving me fond memories of shooting henchmen in the dick in perfect dark, and they keel over and go "why..me..."

i bought but have not listened. gonna wait for dat wax. interesting to hear its on a more upbeat flex. hoping for pure 1999 era Balearic trance vibes with some kind of trappy undercurrent
