And I wasn't so much talking about Live from the Underground (although I do like that album), I mean his latest free project 4evaNaDay. That's my second favourite rap album of the year after RAP Music.
It's true. Just sat through Life is Good and it was a slightly painful experience. He just sounds desperate. Summer on Smash is by far the worst thing he has ever done and that track about his daughters makes him sound washed out. The best part about the album was No Introduction. I kept an open mind as i really do want to like a modern Nas album. Just not feeling it.
I did like the Big KRIT mixtape. Me and My Old School was the highlight.

That's the most negative opinion I've ever heard of Life Is Good, but each to their own I guess. I love The Lost Tapes, Hip Hop Is Dead, God's Son and Stillmatic as well. I mean sure, none of them are classics but to say they're all bad is a bit much...

i'm with you 100%, you're not alone. nas has been weak for a long time now
The whole album is beautiful. A real grower as well. Took me a few listens to really appreciate how good it is. It will suprise me if a better hip hop album is released this year.
