bud, could you at least make coherent sentences? A lot of chestplates stuff is aweseome.. which is why they are huge and have a big following. Even if youre not into that style at all, the quality of their production is way above yours. Thats the point youre missing. There are tons of threads here that explain in full detail how to properly compress, gain structure, eqing, monitoring, etc etc and instead of reading any of them you just slap some crappy song together and want other ppl to give "constructive criticism" on it.

you got your drums down, really feel the different tempos, maybe at 1.25 is a good point to go back to a faster rythm. maybe some more elements in the far back (either like one shots or like binaural real life recordings)
feels abit too dry for my taste. maybe even introduce a harder bass when it goes into slower rythm at 0.32(square combo or sth). and i miss some kind of closing snare, rim , clap or whatever to complete the rythm

Well see, the first step is to know you suck. Then you can stop caring about wanting to be good and everything gets easier. I dont think you actually suck though, I think you dont spend the time to learn the techniques and utilize the resources here. now dude we are talking honest i know my mixdown isnt good. i never actually tried to mix properly but i dont care too much i am happy with a half ass tune something i like to listen too i dont have ambitions to get signed or get famous. i like to make music. maybe it sucks, maybe not aslong as i like the process of doing it.
first you seemed like an asshole but your point as far as i understand it is: try to get the best out of yourself and dont keep an illusion up for others so they try to get the best out of themselfs too.

but still man you could be a bit nicer, thats all we say! so i suck at mixing. say like ok dude i like your ideas maybe go back into the dynamics check the moneyshot thread and try to get your mix to your ideas.

Because most people, especially newcomers, aren't going to spend 6 months turning their first track into a "pro" track - they'll make a track or half a track or maybe a loop, post it for feedback, take on board the feedback, make a new track utilising the feedback, post it... ad infinatum.

You're not going to improve much when starting out by trying to hone a single track into perfection ffs.

This thread is called the "WIP" thread - for WORKS IN PROGRESS. It's not for finished tracks, it's not for pro tracks, it's not to advertise your latest shitty beatport release. It's to post clips, loops, intros, melodies, half baked ideas etc for review by others.
