Just to be different, none of them are actually very good.

Try as I might to get into him, Hodge just doesn't make any tunes I rate.

I didn't even know he had mate, so wind it in.

Edit: Just had a look at BH's disco gees page, there's plenty of artists that have released through them that I like.

Involvement of people I think are a bit cuntish has nothing to do with whether or not I like something man. I still like this thread, and you post in it. Stop being a little knob trying to be a master trole.

I personally don't get a lot of Hodge's stuff, isn't it just techno?

Not saying it's bad but I haven't really been able to get into techno.

fair enough, i just don't see it in with the 130 stuff. I guess I see "130" as coming from a garage/grime/dubstep background.

Granted there is a lot of different stuff being put under this umbrella term, but this stuff isn't for me.

Yeah Hodge is just straight up techno.

I think hes one of the best producers around atm.

yeah i mean tbf i'm not really that into much of what gets put under the term anymore

130 is actually a real awkward tempo to work well into sets imo, something about it is hard to pace

what I like about hodge is that his beats imo are pretty much a perfect fusion of techno with the mood and presence of dubstep

can't think of anyone who's done it better, and especially not this many releases

Going through all the Hodge stuff I can find on record websites, my favourite of his is that Amor Fati/Renegades release, don't like it enough to buy it though (good job, seems to be sold out everywhere anyway).

Is that the Hotline one? Not really man, just a bit basic for me, probably for the reason Phig said he likes Hodge. For me, doesn't do well enough at either the dubsteppy side or the techno side to grab and hold my interest tbh.
