used to be cooler when you could actually hide your wall from other people. they'd just see a blank page lol. then fb probably decided it's too antisocial or smth

you can effectively still do that by adding them to a list and refusing that list access to content on your wall. you'd have to retroactively adjust the privacy settings though, not sure if there's a "catch all" function in settings somewhere.

i noticed fb recently forced some (or all?) people to use their real names instead of aliases/DJ names etc. you can still have that thing in parentheses i think but it kinda sucks for people who don't want everyone to know their last name

particularly as it's applied to people with anxiety a lot, and my understanding is avoiding your 'triggers' and trying to shut them out your life is going to FUCK you up in the long term

if you have serious anxiety etc even seeing trigger warning x anxiety is possibly gonna trigger you
