Got two flat viewings tonight! Theres a third im eyeing up but its at the peak of by budget.
There are decks and alot of vinyl in the living room which has massively swung me though as it means he would be chill with music and other intrests related..
He is the live-in landlord so I may just message him and see if there is any flex in the price.. worth a shot I suppose?

Last place I went for was just over what I had budgetted, but was properly worth it. If you've got something in the place that really catches you, fucking go for it, IMO. Your budget will adapt.

Good point. I may just view it and see how it goes.
Its 600 Pcm, bill inc in clapham north. If I get that its another £110 odd for a 1-3 oyster so £710 total.
The place I said to you about in Tooting is £380 bills inc and with travel card thats just under £500 so a HUGE diffrence.
Obv if its shit though then the average room price in sw17 is 500 so then Clapham comes back on the table.
Funny how ive been wanting to flat hunt for years and how I can I dont really like it that much

North Clapham you're smack close to Luke IIRC, plus you've got Brixton within walking distance. Also, the Clapham North pub opposite the tube has hench roasts and Sapporo on tap :Q:

Worse place I ever lived was the cheapest I could find at the time and I needed to get some money together before moving to London. Shit house, tiny room, lived with stnuc, was in a really scuzzy part of Slough. Not a pleasant 6 months.

Yep, agree with that massively... home's got to be somewhere you can look forward to going back to.

Cheers for the advice chaps! I sent him a message anyways, will see how it goes! I mean the room itself could be bloody awful, most people on this site seem to be really fucking lazy/shit at taking photos.
I swear one place had a picture of their bath mat but not of the room!! it is £80 over what id be paying for staff accom but maybe that is worth it over having £80 more to spend on vinyl/food/going out.
