willg: nice vibes :) personally not really keen of that bass but it all sounds good
the keys are so relaxing

traffikz: pretty non inspiring drums but they sound good
some of the midrange stuff was pretty ear hurting some stuff too loud
i liked the intro.. but id wait to after the intro to let the drums kick in, or slowly build up the drums

kikaaru: interesting track :) what genre is it?
liked the intro very much

krave: intro is nice but a little too long imo, middle part i totally dont get, the last part tho is DOPE!

hakka: ear rape :( too much distortion or something i dont know, it just hurts my ears

dav.id: groovy!!! how do you get the inspiration to make a tune such as this? :D awesome

yep, mine got deleted too. i left comments on some people's soundclouds yesterday, i'll gladly post some more on the tracks i haven't listened to once i get some time.

here's my newest. still rough, but almost there. i wanna add in some more effects just to break it up a bit and of course some minor tweaks on everything. no mastering at all, so it might be a little quiet.

Hey guys,

I posted a thread for this in the Dub forum but it also got deleted, so...
I'm gonna post this here:
I just started producing dubstep and as a matter of fact this the first track regardless of
genre I have ever produced.
I don't know anything about mixing and mastering and I don't own any equipment,
I just felt like finally producing my own stuff.
I'd really appreciate constructive criticism and/or production tips.

Here it is:

thx for listening,

osmose- killer stuff, only suggestion more delay on samples? just a though.

dav.id funky as hell i couldn think of anything else the whole song haha. the last minute was pretty bitchen i have to say.

I think it's pretty cool actually!
But I'd keep the snare in the middle all the time but of course thats only personal preference.

And I could truly relax while listening which is really nice.
Thumbs up!

Here's a dubby one I've been working on. Feedback is appreciated and will be returned. I'd do three now, but this thread's about to expire anyway. I always give feedback and lots of it, so I don't feel too bad this once. Soundcloud

@willg very nice. good sounds. would go well in a mix.

@traffikz very sick. i like the atmosphere and the mid-bass sounds awesome.

@reignz just gonna jump on the bandwagon here, the track is awesome. any criticism to be made would be a little over my head i think.

@jaydot this one is not really my style. kinda difficult for me to get into and repetitive. as far as sheer production quality i think it sounds good. but its the composition and arrangement that i think need work.

@zuta i like this track. very atmospheric. gets pretty tight after the second drop. it does get kinda long though and drags a bit for my taste. i have a.d.d. pretty bad. also something sounds a bit muddy but i'm not sure what. maybe too much verb.

@kikaruu nice groove. easy to get into but kinda corny. the bass sounds really good. just not exactly my style.

@hakka i like the idea you have going here. good composition but i have to agree with nacklewicket, something about your track is causing some serious ear fatigue and it just makes it really hard to listen to. good track but something needs eqing. could be a bitcrusher or something.

@steeple awesome sounds man. sub sounds very nice. i like what you have going here so far. keep it up. i i can offer any criticism at all, all i can say is the "ohohohh" sample sounds kinda lame imo. i would recommend a different sample.

so yeah peep my track here

@Grime Syndicate.
Your track held my interest man, but the bassline sounded like it was under water.
Make it clearer please!
@rainbo
That sample doesn't fit at all man. Good atmosphere in the beginning of the track, but the sample itself sounds bad.
I'm guessing you ripped it off a youtube video.
The track itself sounds like an entire wall of sound man, you need to bring certain elements out more and bring others back.
The bassline should come out more, since that's the main focus of the track (I assume)
not bad, but work on bringing the focus together.
@broxamson, your track was ok man, but i didn't see you leave any feedback for anyone else.
maybe i missed something.
bad broxamson!
@Steeple I know you were a page back, but I got you man.
The delay sounds off at the beginning. The track itself has an interesting vibe unlike anything i've heard before. The snare was a little heavy on the high end though imo, in comparison to the rest of the track.
i'd bring it down at 2-16k by a couple db's.
you should also change up the bassline and add variation to hold the listeners attention.

Sorry if i missed any dope tracks, this shit is hard to do.

The track i'm gonna post is an iteration of the docta flappa track i had uploaded a while back, and it's completely different now.
I have a problem with modifying tracks too much potentially, so if possible, let me know which you think is better.
Thanks for any feedback I might get which is beneficial, I will return the favor.
(I know the main portion itself get's a little old after a while, and the piano sounds dumb as fuck)
