Why shouldn't the DMZ massive (considering they are the practically the inventors of the genre) get all the kudos they deserve. I don't like seeing all the records I want going for insane money on Ebay, but that's the name of the game.
no one makes tunes like Mala, he's the lion tamer in the DMZ circus.![]()
where I'm from many people into "Dubstep" have no idea who Mala and Coki are, that to me is way more depressing than the stupid money someone is willing to pay for Anti-War Dub 12", or whatever.
I came to comment on how awesome EYEZ VIP is, quite a refreshing track, I really like the bass line.
But Mala or DMZ don't see the money on the after sale at stupid price, its only the greedy stnuc who sell it on for a profit and make others think they can as well because fools buy into it. They release limited shiz to keep it just that... special. If people miss out for whatever reason its not the end of the world, but some seem to think it is and will get on their knees like a $5 hooker for a copy. Its just sad

Why? Its plain dumb this hype over this tune. I'm glad I got my copy but wouldn't sell it for stupid money or wouldn't pay stupid money for it.baddis98 wrote:facepalm moment right theredirt wrote:If people miss out for whatever reason its not the end of the world, but some seem to think it is and will get on their knees like a $5 hooker for a copy. Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
you made a general statement offending people who pay a lot of money for a record (for whatever reason). if you don't pay that much, fine! but i'm sure you sometimes spend a lot of cash on things, which i may find pretty stupid, but it's not my biz and therefore i won't compare you to a hoe. i payed a lot for some records that were out of press years before i even started collecting vinyl, because that's pretty much the only possibility for me to listen to these tunes in a way that does them justice.dirt wrote:Why? Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
I have two copies of Moth, original and repress, repress is floating around for relatively cheap compared to what the original was worth before it, I think they're less than a tenner now. Not worth itspec wrote:Anyone keen to trade this?

Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
Bunch of clowns trying to trade this for records not even of comparable value.
Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
I don't really consider myself a clown trading good music for good music?droogie wrote:Bunch of clowns trying to trade this for records not even of comparable value.
Who cares if the price value is slightly different? Just don't think about money for a second?
There are people out there who bought 2-3-4 copies of this for 6.99 just so they could get a hold of other hard to find records.
Oh wait it's a DMZ record....
Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
^ yea really interesting. complaining about people paying or demanding ridiculous amounts of money for records, but then complaining about people wanting to trade 1 for 1, because the other record has a "higher value". kind of shizo, don't it?

Re: EYEZ V.I.P Out Now
no, It's not trading like for like, this record is much harder to come by which is value, value consists of much more than price.baddis98 wrote:^ yea really interesting. complaining about people paying or demanding ridiculous amounts of money for records, but then complaining about people wanting to trade 1 for 1, because the other record has a "higher value". kind of shizo, don't it?
