20 times harder, 20 times filthier, 20 times more catchy than ANY brostep. We should make this a Death Grips appreciation thread and be done with it already.

Not to play devils advocate but deaf grips is some seriously horrible productions. Not much music sounds worse on a system but he was able...

oh no fractal, now you've done it. We can never be friends again. This is testament that you've not properly played this out. My brother said the same thing to me the other day. "That's poorly produced" but that's so not true. I can't believe we've been listening to the same CD because I get some serious bass out of these tracks. Not Elgato - Zone style. Not propper sub. But as far as midrange and normal bass goes, this does blow some speakers and I've honestly put this to the test.

The thing is, the record sounds thinner when it's supposed to sound thinner, and heavier when it's supposed to sound heavy. Then again, I'm still discovering little sounds here and there with every new listening sesh. Some twat said it correctly when he uttered, that although at first listen the CD sounds harsh, it is more catchy than harsh all the time. Yes some tracks have stretches of stereo-produced stuff in there but man, the second half is really bass heavy.

I really find it weird that you said this, as I've yet to disagree with you on anything music related. I'll go cry now.

I'm baffled still by this quote. Obviously I can't speak for their live show. But, I really think production wise, this one of the better things I've heard in the last three years. For me, in its genre, the best thing since Dälek's - Abandoned Language, not counting Shabazz Palaces or Clams Casino, who I'd put in a different category.

I've also convinced my brother that he's wrong by now. I mean it's weird, I know you know your music, I know you know your bass. How we are getting this so different..food for thought :dunce:
