The track is cool. Good ideas and ok transitions. Good programming.

But there's something about the mix, that makes it sound too clean.
There's not a focal point or driving element like fx a kick or something (that I'm 'forced' to cling on to), and that slightly diverts attention away from the nice groove and other bits that seem very well 'developed' for a lack of a better word. It could just be a volume issue in this case. But I reckon a track always gets you focusing on either the bass' sound, the snares or like you know the heartbeat like qualities of a kick - something psychological- and then we build the rest on top of that inside our head.
You probably already have that focal point, it just doesn't translate immediately. It's really a production that is so tight that it ought to be an engineer or something that 'could' pull it apart. But yeah engineering is ofcourse still part of producing.
This is all subjective aswell.

new Kinzy on cold sounds like 130 dungeon. would buy though if the tunes weren't so strangely arranged, I'm pretty sure these rhythms could set the dance on fire.

oh Batu's new tunes :P:

Boxed was sick! Anyone else reach?

Everyone smacked it, Spooky/Finn/Murlo especially

Spooky getting what felt like his first 4 tunes jacked (deservedly), Polonis Getto Kyote refix did a nutjob maneuver on the crowd.

Mr Mitch dropping a mash up of Mans on Road vs Skepta - Duppy>>

Murlo was on some practicioner business, so quick in the mix, the Rebound X booty obvs got reaction of the night

Quibbles: venue was far as fuck away from errything & the sound was average at best. The lights were doing my nut too espesh in Logos' set which i wasn't feeling really that early. Got darker later tho inside.

Big up the guy who bought me a (4.50!!) red stripe for free to reach the card limit

Still don't know how that Simple and Clean remix from Sharp Veins is a remix. Listened to the original and it sounds like nothing compared to the SV remix.

They are in a new venue every other week and some of them have been errrr less than stellar sound. Do need to get rooted in a venue with a big system, I guess something shit must have happened to leave Birthdays
