holy fucking shit guys, drop everything; this just happened.

I was driving home from work right, as per usual, but there was a guy probably my age wearing a giant fucking black fedora and a giant fucking black trench coat. Bear in mind, there are a lot of orthodox jews in my neighborhood, but I think this was the kind that you homophobe. are always on about with the neckbeards and shit, I thought I would share that with all of you. Hes walking west on southern pkwy, plainview ny. You can go hang out with him and eat out his butt-hole.

not at all RKM. Let me explain; I am perplexed by the notoriety of these human beings in this place and on the entirety of the internet (In all of it's ungodliness) but at the same time have not yet seen an actual being as per mentioned in the life of reality.

I've seen them, there was a solid clique of them at two schools I used to go to, one was in America, the other was heavily Americanized

They weren't, I knew them personally.

Don't think I've ever discussed it here, but one of them always used to complain about "Humans" if you pissed him off, he'd say stuff like "Fucking worthless humans"

He was pretty racist too, but it didn't really work out because people would laugh at him too much.

I went to Comic-Con earlier in the year and from a distance thought I had spotted THE fedora man making an appearance

I think the internet gave it a specific name, but lets be real - fedoras haven't been legitimately cool since the 80s. Everyone who has worn them after that period has been seen as some sort of nerd - before mass internet culture too. If backwards, upside down visors were a bros calling card, the fedora is the calling card of a nerd.

but it just doesn't make sense how there is a connection between behavior, and wearing a fedora. For instance, when I was posting chapters of a short story I was writing, someone posted a picture of that fat fedora guy; the idea behind the phrase just doesn't make any logical sense. It's some sort of throwaway joke with no merit to almost like a legitimate accountability for a certain behavioral trait. Like, what the fuck does being a writer have to do with wearing a fedora? There is no denying that the word "fedora" has taken upon a definition of its own, and yet it is so ridiculously unidentifiable and I find it extremely irritating (along with all internet memes) that it is thrown around as often as one would be called an introvert, or an artist. I become upset when people do not use thought, and when fedora is used, thought it not present. Whether it was used on me is besides the point, because it was irritating to me even the very first time I heard my little internet troll brother speak of it, along with using the word autism to describe anyone who is acting foolish. It's a bit of a nightmare for anyone who has any respect for the english language. I mean look at the title of this thread, fedora and cringe are interchangeable; a fashion accessory that changes is overall beauty like the wind and the seasons, is associated with a human emotion of disgust. Do u understand me ppl. plz tell me u understand me.
