listened on headphones but the kick and bass tones sound pretty high i doubt it bumps. not saying thats necessary for all hip hop beats but i feel like it couldve used nice low 808 stab here and there or something.

Heres something I wrote a while back, really happy with the bass sound - reminds me of a detuned electric. Should probably drop into chorus again instead but you get the gist

I know the kick is kind of weird but I wasn't sure what it was I needed to change. I just worked for along time finishing it and I've just now seen your comment. I put the new version up for download though:
