let us know how it is mayne. don't think GT's gonna be with him tomorrow tho. i dunno, I feel like a Kahn only is gonna be like, a lot of weird stuff i'm not really into. if it was kahn & GT it would probably change my mind. i like tunes like LNB, Dread, Badman City, but like I don't wanna hear like ambient stuff and pulse x grime for 4 hours straight lol.

kahn at system was like grime iirc. pretty sure i missed most of his set. what are his sets like these days?

Go see Kahn be silly not to.

His sets (of the ones i've seen) are normally a mix between new 140 (dubs from new Kahn & Gorgon Sound obvs, Ishan Sound, Commodo, Gantz, Mala, etc) with some classics chucked in (some dmzs, old pinch & hyperdub) then most likely some grimey bits, but tbh his grime selection is big so don't worry mate.

Go anyway, you might hear 'some weird stuff you're not really into' that might become your new favourite tune. Not a bad thing to be unfamiliar with some of the music/selectors at a night. :D

A bud did this awesome portrait of me last night in a couple hours while at open art studio, and he has an art show coming up which makes me mad happy for him.

Did pretty damn good on this year's exams. Finishing up the first mixes for a band and have an EP mastering job lined up.
Now just hoping I land that internship at an post pro studio here.

Nice one. I'll aim for around then... probably come for at least a pint or two and then head off to find a suit. Nicely nicely!

WHAT A NIGHT :h: not even just fanboying, I was one foot skanking it in the corner beside the sub all fuckin night. Kahn played a full vinyl set, proper dread tunes, some type of Livin Different VIP, an alternate version of late night blues and dread, not very much grime (only grimey-ish tune i recall is the one of his With the WOPWOPWOPWOP vocal) or ambience at all, he was on a straight bad man ting.

I couldn't say who had the better set, but Goth KILLED it performance wise. He was automating effects like a mother fucker, beat stuttering and using analog delay masterfully. really seemed in control of his set. The vibes were unreal, both djs got a lot of love, just a really sick night overall.
