These days there isn't really a dubstep scene here.

But back in the day it was solid. For example both Argon Records and Narco Hz were based out of SF. Artists like DJG, Djyuna, Juju, Matty G. It kind of hit a peak in 06/07, then came back in force around 2009/10 when dubstep (proto-brostep  ) started getting popular in the states. Then the scene here fell flat on its face around 2012 for various reasons.

agents got a point, i'm living in a fairly cheap area for the south of the uk and the town and the loan's not even close to covering the years rent

also dr gatineau, fuck me all the clubs with the best sound systems in the us look like an agonizing place to spend a night out

and there's still dubstep stuff going on here from time to time, but bristols become really more of a place where the names tour through than one with any home scene, there's plenty of house and techno and i can enjoy that but i don't get the same enthusiasm, man needs a new genre to appear quick that's gonna shape the next ten years of uk

Grandma saga continues: got to her nursing home and she looked awful. A fraile shell of what she was even a few weeks ago. She's on morphine every 2 hours and can barely hear/talk.

haha mind you that list is coming from Beatport...

The venue they listed for SF is where Dre throws his night. They have a 'void system' but its one sub and two of those air horn drivers. Its a small space so it gets loud, but its far from satisfying in terms of weight. There are like 4 other clubs in SF alone that are much better sounding than Monarch, not sure how that place always makes 'top 10' lists for its sound :?

This is the venue the old dubstep weekly I went to a bunch was in, pretty rad space. They always turned all the lights off as well. I played some of my first bookings here too; very fond memories for me. Lots of bad bookings there tho by the end (brostep/trap) but mostly good times haha Was also great because you could go there and find pretty much any drug you wanted in the smoking section, always high quality stuff too.

some shit being talked about tea in this thread.
If you haven't enjoyed it I pity you.
its one of lifes simple pleasures: tea, milk, 1 sugar (or 2 depending on pref).
I don't know how it happens but sometimes, just sometimes you get the right amount of milk and the temperatures just right and BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! each sip hits you in your chest and your head and your heart even your dick get involved. it doesnt have to be pucks of some peasant sage ground szamraskachar tea brought down on the back of a virgin mule during the reign of yogi dictators from werzdatipumpi on a dinghy made of recycled condoms. no, just brew, bag, cup, done. simple. pleasure. life.

if your missing out I shed a tear for each of you individually.
come collect your tears. I'll brew em up and over the steam we can get all misty eyed about how this was made for us by the true victims of capitalism.
and I'll tell tales of how I killed the cow myself to get the milk.

PG Tips as I know so far is one of the most loved teas in the UK. It is strong and Aromatic and indeed, Posh, It has so many good qualities so if you like tea alot I suggest you get this one because it's strong and really nice and even if you smell the teabag it's so strong and real tea drinkers drink PG Tips. I personally like the tea's with teabags because the loose ones float about in the tea. I also think it tastes Grainy the loose ones. So I prefer Teabags and now I am going to get to the bit where what biscuits its good with. I personally like it with digestives or Fox's Rich Tea. Chocolatey Biscuits like Oreo's aren't really good with it since PG Tips is best hot and Oreo, If it's too hot it melts and gets in the tea and bits of Oreo in your tea isn't really nice. And also it makes the Oreo taste abit Bad but I think PG Tips is best on its own because I drink it on it's own. But Biscuits like Digestives can go nicely with it. Normally with my breakfast everyday I either have Coffee or PG Tips. I love it and It helps me wake up because of it's epic flavour. In the UK and Indeed all around the world it's loved by millions. The reason it's so nice is because when the companies use the tea leaves the secret they use is that they only pick the top two leaves on each tea plant. And they also pick the Bud and they pick the best leaves that go with the tea. If it was rated by the Times or any other companies that rate things it would get an absolute glowing piece written by them. And by the way I am not sponsored by PG Tips to give them rating and reviews I just love their tea so much I can't resist writing this. They work hard and the value of the tea is 100% worth it and PG Tips is the best of the best tea's I can recommend.

I defo put sugar in my tea. And fairly sweet too. Nothing extreme, but with the dryness of the tea, and the sweetness of the sugar, my god something special happens. Now if you put it in stainless steel... omgeezy, the best beverage there is. Am speaking about green tea, btw, and in particular, gunpowder green tea.

Lipton Black Tea is kind of bad. I prefer PG Tips but I have to say this: I love their Ice Tea, Their Ice tea is full of flavour and the Aroma is not really like Tea but it's sweet and sticky. Their Black Tea is disappointing but their Ice Tea is one of the best Ice teas. I have seen on Yahoo! Answers that Lipton is one of the best teas but I'm not really sure. To be honest I'd rather drink PG Tips Flavour is pretty strong though. The Aroma is possibly the worst Aroma that a tea's ever invented. It's just like cardboard. The Flavour is strong because for 2 Bags you can make it bitter as hell, Still their Ice Tea is stunning. (When It's cold) When I get their Ice Tea the Temperature is probably 4/10 because the Temperature stinks but the taste overwhelms me. I've seen people say that the even their Black Tea is a artificial. I know that their Ice tea is 99% artificial because It's all sugar and color and preservatives and saturates. The Ice Tea flavour is good but the chemicals that they put in it is not really good for your body. And also The Ice Tea tastes nice, Don't get me wrong but the chemicals in it are artificial. So Taste good but Chemicals are not really good. So dump the Black Lipton tea and get either the Ice Tea or another Black Tea which is actually good.

sugars great. #
why not combine the pleasure of sweet AND tea. that's using your head.
gunpowder tea's nice.
Im more traditionalist nowadays with a 50% free offer on yorkshire tea at morrisons. pg's good but 50% mate.
and biscuits they always sink to the bottom no matter what.
your always left with the last half inch at the end which you can drink or leave depending on how hungry you are.

I know where it's at.
