It's not technically sharia here thank fuck, but it's just as bad.. And yeah the heat is an issue, the only thing I miss about living in the UK is being able to walk places, here everything is so far apart and it's just too hot.

I think the only way to get alcohol in sharia countries is to smuggle it in.

But it's not actually shariah like he said, plus how do you think tourists get it? Although i know some arabs who said in Saudi people make 70% moonshine shit. Plus all the fucking royals and people in power probably drink that stuff. I just know that in Pakistan (not full shariah) you need a non-muslim license, and it some parts of india too.

When i was in Kuwait you could get alcohol and pork from the US army shop thing (forget what the proper name was)

Saudi Arabia is a completely dry state. They even banned shisha in Riyadh. People apparently brew moonshine on the compounds, sounds nasty though.

You need a booze license here, technically you need one to drink in a bar but no one ever checks, I don't have a booze license coz its expensive and you need a lette from your employe giving you permission, not that I couldn't get permission but it's annoying. I get booze delivered from Philippines anyway for cheaper than the shops anyway.
And ive got mates who were raised in Saudi, most of the Brits brew their own drink, I hear it's awful.
