well they should have their shipping prices listed in their seller terms, right? so you should be able to see them before placing the order, but if they don't have the prices in there or if it's different from what they list in their terms, then they're actually the ones at fault according to discogs' rules and should get the negative rating.

if a seller charges X for shipping and it only costs Y, discogs should penalise and refund the difference. nuff chancers on there

For fuck sake, serato keeps distorting really bad on my piece of shit laptop but I don't know if its anything with the turntables or other hardware or its just my piece of shit laptop.. so I went to install it on my mac, it installed and opened up.. installed the driver then restarted. Now I'm getting a grey progress bar on start up which gets half way then my mac just closes.

Macs are not worth the fucking hassle I swear, I barely use mine and its caused me nothing but hassle.. needed a whole new fucking keyboard 2 weeks after I got it because that decided it didn't want to work anymore. A grand on a fucking brick.

Going through different boot ups/trying to reinstall OS X.. nothing working.. sounds like my hardrive might be fucked. If I have to take it in for repair I'm going to just ask for a new one altogether, fucking thing has probably had a month or two of use and its had 2 major hardware fails through no fault of my own.

last night was one of the craziest nights of my life. didnt sleep a wink got a couple of hours kip today. fuckin hell

Party at a friends house, stayed sober just good vibes with some close people. everyone got wrecked cept me and a female friend and as she was leaving she got a phone call and shot out the door. came running back minutes later and since I was the only one sober asked me to come to one of the neighbours houses where her friend was at. got in and theres this old dude on the couch, dead. she was trynna speak to him but he'd had a massive heart attack. never seen a dead person (except for in the chapel of rest). he was still warm, tried chest compressions. ambulance turned up, tried to revive but he was gone. spent the rest of the night trynna calm his girlfriend down and keep the kids asleep. took ages for the undertaker to arrive (they didnt take him to the hospital cos he was dead at the scene). they left at 4.30 spent another hour or two chatting to the girlfriend until she tried to rest and then sat huddled up next to my friend against a radiator till I was called upon at 8ish to get a lift to see my lil uns. kept it shtum with the family till my ex asked me why I was so tired after xmas activities had quitened down. I explained to her and, despite the chaos that was the house (both her and my lil uns have a stomach bug) bless her let me crash out for 2 hours.
was mad. I have never been in that situation before. Im only glad I could remain calm as noone really knows what theyd be like till it happens. still really strange to process and thats probably fucked up a lot peoples xmas.
