The 45 button on my turntable is broken :u: Doesn't have any warranty left so I'm going to try and replace the button myself in a few days with my mediocre soldering skills.

Otherwise it'll be a new mixer, serato AND a new turntable. In 3 months. Which is way too long

Well, it's for the other day, but still...

Firstly 16 Bit didn't turn up at a night they were supposed to play at that I was at. Plastician played a kind of slightly watered down wanky popular "studenty" dubstep set that I didn't like so much and then Dr P played the worst dj set I've ever heard.

Then when I was stood outside the venue this drunk girl started talking to me and my mate. She then froze and started looking shocked when she realised I was wearing a Texas Chainsaw Massacre t shirt. She then asked my mate how he could be friends with someone who was into that and said he should hate me. He said "it's a pretty good film to be honest". She then turned to me and said "have you ever heard of the human centipede?". I said yeah. She then actually ran away in fear like I was some sort of monster. I would have thought it was funny and enjoyed it but she was actually pretty fit so I felt a bit gutted that I literally scared her away. (Also the logic in being shocked that someone's heard of a film, when you yourself have doesn't make any fucking sense)

Lost my rag (not in the least bit professionally) with a college at work, belittled them and them appear rather silly and vindictive right in front of my line manager. Now although my line manager agrees that said person is a bell-end and I was in my rights to protest I shouldn't have threatened to fuck her mother with a dead man's cock so I got a verbal warning and she got to go ome an hour early as I made her cry :(

I'm losing my patience with revision atm, it's starting to seem like too much and i'm starting to get headaches as i'm just constantly over thinking what i've got to do and how much there is rather than doing it. I'm getting stressed out with every little tiny, insignificant, borderline non-existant detail of absolutely fucking anything!!

I'm honestly considering not turning up to the exams and forgetting the whole fucking thing since i'm too fucking lost in my own neuroticism to put my all into something without being too scared of failing. AARRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! :u: :u: :u: :u: :u: :u: :u: :u: :u: :u:

Had quite a shit bank holiday weekend.

Highlights being impressing my mates mum with my mixing, and buying new bedding.

WOW. I'm living the high fucking life.

Nah, this old interfering woman. She means well at the end of the day but the problem is there's way things need to be done because of a) the law b) policy c) it's the way it always has been done... but she'll come in twice a week and do things her own way. The argument started over first assessment forks; when someone comes in myself or someone else will sit down and go through a form. Basic stats stuff from sexual orientation / gender to how many bags of heroin do they use a day. Because of the nature of it some people will want to let it all out there and then, we can't do this, don't have the time and not all the staff or versed in it. So to make it easier there's a ticky box with a few small forms in to write notes. Her idea was to have a blank sheet for each client and she went ahead and did this without telling anyone so now we have several clients on our books with no case numbers, prohb numbers or risk assessment forms from the police / mental health services.
