Absolute bullshit attitude from, well, certain people regarding the criticism. Can see that it's gonna start to overshadow the fact that, all in all, it was an awesome night. Hope not though.

got punched in the face 7 times by some loaded up chav who turned out to be one of skreams mates, just because i held my ground when he tried to push infront of me at the bar. wasteman

apart from that good night, goth trad and vivek smashed it. room 2 was much nicer though because you actually had room to dance

Who was rolling out the jungle in Room 2 earlier on, was it Horsepower? Safe to say I had mind blown about three or four times in the fifteen minutes I spent in there catching my breath!

4 real man....guy is a really great host, nothing but good vibes coming from him...

Heard so many sick sick tunes last night, too many to remember, proper night of music.... Benton's 20/20 sounded absolutely massive on that rig...
some sets were more my thing than others, but all well enjoyable....i thought VIVEK fucking smashed, proper deep dark sounds

Most things have been said already, far too packed, and ridiculously hot. But despite that, the technicals and lashings of brostep it was still a decent night. It was just hard to really enjoy yourself when you're constantly hustling for space and sweating buckets.

As far as sets go, Goth-Trad vs VIVEK, wow. James Blake and Kode 9 did it for me as well, don't care what anyone says that Changes remix is incredible. The set of the night for me though was Moxie, she absolutely went in. So much more space and better vibes in Room 2 as well. Couldn't peel myself away too go and watch KM and Yunx and I'm glad I didn't tbh. Oh and when are people going stop moaning about Loefah's sets, he doesn't play halfstep anymore just get over it. Smashed it as per. Need to know the name that crazy acid tune he played before Tyree Cooper - Turn up the bass. Oh and Pokes reminded me why he is by far the best host.

As I say, overall I enjoyed myself, on the whole musically it was spot on. Just a real shame about the heat and lack of space.

Anyone know when the next one is?

was waiting for sumone to say something.

it was some proper amazon rainforest stuff in room 1. whatever you thought of it, it was definately a unique sight lol.

standing on the seats and seeing the whole crowd, was pretty epic actually haha.

Completely shameless promo here, but Moxie is playing at my night on Saturday 19th, in Stoke Newington along with a few other people. Details in the sig. She is a really good DJ, glad to hear her set went down well!

room 2 was definatly a good look imo

in regards to pokes being a good host...damn straight! he's sickular...i recall him saying something along the lines of "transition refused to cut this" to a tune lol can't remember wot it was tho.

i swear joe n chef either dropped swish or some old loefah that AB-SO-LUTE-LY SMAHOOSHED the dance!

@spydee the view was sick from the seats, i moved to them when infront of the stack in the corner got too ramjam, im definatly gona have to reach the may one to get me some skankin space.

overall the night was bigular, although i think its probably a touchy subject i think maybe some thought about either a venue change or something, maybe even just for the bday ones coz there was WAAAYYY too many people in there!

was it ACTUALY over capacity?

Music has a place & im sure a lot of people would say that dmz is not the place for that style of music. that is all. If it was at Fabric then Im sure no one would of said a word.
If it was the other way around and some of the deeper artists played main time at a hype night everyone would tear into them.

Im guna have to listen to their set & see what I missed.

On a more positive note, Sgt Pokes really showed why he was the best last night, kept everyone involved even through the technicals.

Positive vibes!
Pokes the geezer ha. I aksed for the setlist on the window at the main entrance he tried to blag £5 of me for agessss. Started a bidding war with those around hahaha

this.

goth trad, vivek and what i herd of youngsta vs km was everything i expected and more, highlights of the night. listening back dmz vs loefah was pretty immense aswell just wish i didnt get stuck in the corner roasted and zoned

but everything i herd musically was great, even the brostep. that said i didnt catch most of skream and bengas set, but even the stuff hatcha and ntype were playin was enjoyable.
