Was fecking amazing.
I was hanging on Sam Riley's every word, he acted brilliantly in it. I know next to nothing about Joy Division but that didn't matter at all when I was watching it.

It was funny how different 24 Hour Party People portrayed Ian Curtis's suicide compared to Control. Great film as well, Steve Coogan was hilarious in it.

I love the amount of artistry put into this. It's kind of sad but I notice how i'm used to more modern production techniques and that affects my judgment of older movies sometimes. Just tiny little things that I notice that wouldn't fly in movies today. Things like dialogue and actors pretending to play instruments jump out to me. Loved watching this film, regardless.
