having a crazy time in Berlin in the proper sense. been there since last Thursday, probably for the last time this year (I've been there quite a lot over the last few months as my girlfriend is there until the end of July). only her flatmate, who owns the flat, told her on Thursday morning he was sick of her receiving people and did not want anyone to sleep there anymore. so it's been a crazy few days trying to find places where I could sleep and stuff, but it finally looks good after one last night planned tonight in an hostel as we've got some friends who can host us both from tomorrow on.
it's all good though - we got to see Pearson Sound at about blank and Massive Attack (was my gf's birthday present, thought I'd been scammed and the tickets were faked, eventually turned out they weren't) and generally have a good times, and now am in here until next Monday. crazy week
edit: also was good to see last night's 7:1 from Germany

I think upset is the wrong word; disappointed in the lack of imagination perhaps.

pearson soundded really good but was a tad boring as his set was like 2 hrs of drum breaks, oldschool garage vibes and relentless bass

german bouncers can be cunce like
the clubs over there are proper elitist
saying that when i was there for a few days i only didnt get into one club, probably because me and my m808 were really really stoned and lolling extremely loudly in the queue. germans dont like loudness apparently

lol, randomly found a youtube comment on DMZ - Haunted by an aspiring brostep/DNB DJ who used to go to my school in zurich. He actually follows me on twitter with his DJ name & profile pic thats how I recognized him
I bet 90% here who are like "gtfo mainstream cigarettes dis is de rel dubstep" don't even like this but pretend to like it because it's old & they feel that they're SUPPOSED to like it. I'm not saying this is bad but it's certainly nothing special NOWADAYS. Technology has advanced so much in music production that standards have increased a lot & I understand everybody who doesn't find this track appealing because there is so much more new & good stuff out there. Nowadays, a track like this can be produced by every young amateur producer. Back in 2006 I'm sure this was big but nowadays it's simply nothing special anymore & you guys who stick to this stuff are in no way superior to people who like to listen to new stuff rather than hearing the old tunes over and over again.
I won't deny I had fun skanking out to him playing UKF style drum and bass at our school ball though
his tunes are shite btw
