New one just started. Only spent about an hour or 2 on it. Bass reminds me of one of Dayns.

Will return feedback. Stuck atm, might have a break. Brain not working anymore.

- bradicle: not bad , imo the intro sucked balls (humble opinion :) ) there was just nothing to it, probably cause you only worked 2 hours on it. Bass is nice but needs more work, it lacks power and some 'WOW' effect. Just putting an LFO on rate 1/2 isn't gonna do it, add some variation, switchups , badass bass breaks.

- Breadman: tune's not available bro

- WeBang: nice riddim , i liked the high pitched lead you chose, not really feeling the actual bass sound though. Add some subs aswell, for rest i don't worry this is gonna be a good one

- NexxusProductions: nice bass, tight drums, just the arrangement bothers me. No drop, bass comes in out of nowhere. Make a build up with the vocals slowly rising, drop it hard and you'll have a good tune man.

- mattyseizure: as said before your drums are soaked. I also find the bass wobbles rather annoying, they're so artificial sounding. like sync'd lfo rate, 1/4 to 1/8 to 1/16 and back is what I hear... some work to it imo

Ok here's my WIP again, tell me what u think, leave me with some feedback :)

@NexxusProductions - Before going into the vocals, maybe add a drop, doesn't need to be filthy but a drop'll be good :)

@w63notch - I found the synth a little cheesey to be frank, change that up a bit. Also, either shorten the intro or switch up the synths a bit maybe change octaves or use different patches? But once it got going I really liked the overall sound of it. Good work

@bradicle - The intro was a little long, it might put people off a bit, the drop was large though, maybe try switching it up every few bars or so to keep it lively and interesting?

Here are mine, I'm working on a track at the moment and really need some help on deciding on a pad, here are two that I've whittled it down too:

This is a really rough version of a new one I'm working on. It sounds a lot like Skream's "Hedd Banger", but I'm gonna be changing it up a lot more. Any suggestions on the intro? It feels lame as hell to me. haha

I'll leave a big feedback post later. Just about to go out now.

intro is really plain and long, spice it up a little

the bass sound it self isn't really doing it for me, and when that delayed rimshot hits it feels kinda off
I don't know if the 808's are working on this track in particulair....I would add some shakers also to the drums

@TheSketchBoard - Really like the chiptune sounds coming off. Really liked the wobble as well, maybe add a mario sample in there?

@drummerpig - very nice sub line. The repeating synth in the intro is nice and the different switch ups keep it interesting, but yeah try to avoid sounding like Skream too much, you'll get forum trolls attacking you

@davi.d - The intro didn't do it for me, (but I know it is just me as it was very well executed) but the main body with the bass was brilliant. You should maybe change the lead synth every 16 bars or so to keep the listener interested

Here is an advance on my earlier posted track:

edit! :
@MattiMaticz - This is for WIP [Work In Progress] only feedback. Completed tunes should be posted into the other sticky thread in the production section

@Mouldy Soul - Sub Flux rocks dude! Really nice feel the whole way through, reminds me a little of Boxcutter's stuff. Could have a little more variation before the guitar comes in. Some of the sounds should have a bit of delay for that really dubby feel. Maybe a little less compression overall - the waveform looks really blocky. Good stuff though.

@Imperial - Valley of the Kings is sounding good. You need a bit more bass in there though, it all feels a bit cold. Where did you get the vocal sample? Sounds cool, you should try and nick some sounds from Age of Mythology. I think a live recording of some tabla would sound better than MIDI, but that might be a little difficult to organise.

@tipo test - We Like Turtles is awesome. Not the kind of stuff that I usually listen to, but I love this. Really fun and bouncy. The whole track could sound a bit more full, but that might just be my taste in music. :)

I'm making a track (or a good start on one) every day for 30 days. This track was day 14.

@dav.id Really like this one. The intro's nice and interesting and theres some dead nice melody changes in there along with the samples you use. Maybe try making the intro a little longer?

thx, I have a thing with intro's.... alot of the times the intro's of dubstep tracks are to long or boring and I just skip it

but I guess I can make it longer hehe:)
