Country is the type of music I wouldn't complain excessively about if I was a guest at someone important's house.

I've bigged up Fanu enough times on here, and to celebrate his new release this week he's giving away his entire Lightless back catalogue for free in digital format on his Bandcamp page;

i can cope with it as long as no agrarian machinery is mentioned

I don't do the top 40 stuff, but about 1/3 of the music I listen to on XM Radio is country. Outlaw Country station is my first preset station. Willie's Roadhouse is my second. Then Chill XM.

If you want to make your own Florence & The Machine tune, simply release a startled owl into a wind chime store.

I think its wubs post of that Fanu blog that has me thinking today...who here thinks they are really fucking making the tunes they want tooutside any kind of fear our doubt? I really think Ive wasted the last year or so fucking about...knowing the way I want to make music and the vibe I want to create but have been too afraid it'll be terrible and all my talk and thinking will be for nothing.

I do, but I think it would be difficult if music was my living rather than my hobby. If I was relying on the income from music I'd probably have to step away from what I truly enjoyed making a lot more.

Yea. Thats exactly why I feel like I've wasted my time. I don't make a living from it...so I should be doing what I enjoy most lol.
