Yeah, I'm not sure guitarists can be that influential or be looked at as genious anymore, but that's a good shout still. Proper alien sound.
...idiot.

Big downs

Coming from a guy who can't stand Mars Volta etc.

No, I'm saying you're a fucking mongaloid if you have to express yourself like that.

hmmm. . i was defending both you and me  - he called one of us an idiot. don't think 'mongaloid' is any worse. maybe and i think you'll agree a bit silly to call someone if it was meant seriously, and i was making a joke about him saying big downs?

I just see no reason for communicating the way he did. not pissed off over here :W:

On second thought I agree, it was a rush of blood to the head after digging up some older stuff of his and taking a good listen to his latest album release. I am a really big fan of his sound (across multiple aliases) and production style though. If you asked me who I would want to remix a tune of mine then he would be very high on that list.

wut  ex forum member with copy-n-paste threads aside, he only has a release on anything because he kissed arse in this place like some superfan to the point it was cringy for a lad of his age, his music is a poor attempt at emulating Actress, who he coincidently bummed.
Meh, you're having a go at someone who was 16/17 and very excited about music, I wouldn't say I kissed arse but I was embarrassingly enthusiastic at times. Having said that, a lot of people are embarrassing at 17 and there are many worse things than being overly excited about music.

I'd like to think I've managed to have some stuff released because I've spent 5 years or so working at it and some people happen to enjoy it. I doubt anyone running a label is willing to put out music they dislike just to do some kid on a forum a favour.

Actress is wicked but I don't try to emulate him. There isn't much point in ripping people off, you're never going to do them better than they do and it's hardly satisfying anyway. I didn't start making music, and continue to do so, to emulate people, I wanted to make my own stuff.

Probably a bad idea to respond to this but whatever, it's difficult to read someone slagging you off and not want to defend yourself.

Should probably clear this up as well.

I posted a photo of a frenulum (banjo string) I found on Google in response to someone asking what one was and was subsequently banned. I'd never be so crass as to post a photo of my penis online and I'm far too obsessively clean to have smegma.

You're suppose to respond with a thread saying you're leaving this horseshit place then slag DSF off on twitter. Tru hed 101.

Throw in some PM death threats for good measure.
