haha don't worry about it man, i just wait tables at a shitty restaurant in soho, its incredibly stressful (queues out of the door from 6-10 every night), the hours are very long, my managers are mostly dickheads and the pay is shiteLBe wrote:you doing an internship or something then luke? sorry if you have mentioned this before, got a mind like a sieve sometimesdubluke wrote:haha a fair point, but at least you get paid to go to work!eLBe wrote:hmmm give it half a year and see if you still feel the same about being employed!dubluke wrote:haha, yeah that pretty much sums it up for most people.TNT wrote:bein employed and having to go to work

on a related note, i am accepting resumes for people who a) are in dire need of employment and b) would like my job. i think it's unfair for me to have such a decent paying job and hate it, not need it, and want to be in school when there are people with mortgages and hungry mouths to feed out there who deserve it more than i.Step Correct wrote:TNT wrote:bein employed and having to go to work
Dude in this day and age, there are plenty that would be happy to do this for you.
there is some travel required, about 3 days a week. only setback is, you know, being here and getting chummy with these people, a few who are proper assholes with superiority complexes/loud abnoxious laughs/tendency to leave their food int he fridge for too, too long. one employee is the textbook definition of a moron, quite possibly borederline asbergers (diagnosed by your truely after 5 years' suspicion), with boundry issues, no social skills and he will be all up in your face with coffee breath.
