Pedro falls over if he clips a blade of grass. All the nerves in Busquets body seem to be connected to his face

I think the thing that's winds people up the most with City is the Etihad deal, the owner basically used his family's own company to massively overpay the club in sponsorship deals to get round ffp rules. PSG have done the same

True and that is completly fair to respond that way.
But being mates with Jelzin at that time and the way that chelsea can now rule over smaller 'breeder' clubs like vitesse (out of the hands of ffp) and effectively enslave youth players is as bad.
It's only a matter of scope if you follow the money around but that's probably not news to anyone.

PSG will prove to be more of a risk for the owners, I think.
Eventhough they have the most ridiculous team and probably the best starting 11, France as a country is just not fit for investments like an english speaking nation is.

And its funny that having Takshin Shinawatra at the top wasn't worse in the public oppinion than a fraudulent sponsorship. But that's how pundits shout.

And it will continue until La Liga do something about the retarded revenue sharing for TV money;

betis matches has much more viewers than all the teams except athletic, atletico, madrid and barça. 12 millions is ridiculous :u:

i may be misunderstanding but surely the teams that are televised more often should get more money than ones that aren't?

Premiership is slightly skewed, but not massively so;

(these are both taken from November 2013, BTW)

It does, but only a little. Saints at the start of this season had something like only one match televised in the first seven weeks (can't remember exactly), whereas United had five.

Exact revenue split would be the way to go however you need to bear in mind the NFL has the Draft whereas the Premshiership (or indeed, any football-as-in soccer-league) does not. So they are different sports and different entities entirely.

And that's why football is now vastly boring. Leagues with parity are much more entertaining.

So shit that for 90% of clubs at least, their only hope of success is to be taken over by a billionaire (or close to) and join the other billionaire owned clubs. Other than that, you can hope for a miracle cup run. Shocking that, conceivably, even fans of most prem clubs know that without being taken over by a benevolent moneybags, they won't win a league title in their lifetime.

that Prem League TV table is perfect imo. The worst team gets 2/3rds of revenue of the best team.

in other news, im off to see the best club team in the world play later. I will also be seeing Bayern Munich play

Another example of putting aside domestic opinions and switching to a partisan supporting model - in essence, England vs. Germany. And one should never cheer for Germany.

I used to want Liverpool to win in Europe once Arsenal were out but I can't bring myself to support any of those other 3 currently in it

Wonder how Spurs fans will get on in Ukraine for tomorrow's game, what with it being a bit aggy over there at the moment.
