Wabble- much much better man :corndance: keep at it.

ruthyloops- try adding some variation to your wobble maybe with an automation clip it will help with the energy. I like the atmosphere you create in the intro :)

sulyhak- not much to say nice and dark as hell maybe work on the volume of the first vocal clip it seems a little too loud.

brainsound- nice tracks man. I really like that pad or whatever you are are using to create the atmosphere in your newest track. might try some variations in your wobble speed but sounds good.

essarai- nice track man only thing is the guitar sounding bass at 21 imo doesn't quite fit maybe stick with that clean bass for that part. keep at it

I took everyone's feedback into consideration and cleaned the intro up quite a bit it was pretty jumbled. I will probably take out the first vocal samples I just forgot to before I uploaded it >.< and thanks for the help dsf

@5-ohh-what : Really like the chilled vibe here, nice groove and the vocoded parts fit well, the melody line sounded abit quiet to me (this may of been your intent). I thought the drum pattern may of had too many kicks (but thats my opinion and if i heard it with less kicks i might say to put more in)
made me think of california love by 2pac (then i went and listened to said track and dunno why i thought that). Really liked it and even rewinded it for my own listening, looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

@Tox1k: Nothing wrong with FL, i assume its got a bad name cuz people still think back to its '03 incarnation as fruity loops, in fact one of my faviorate vsts is by image line sakura vst! And its one of the best platforms to learn on, i USED to say start on Fl or Reasen then move on to Cubase or logic, as Fl and reasen are easy to get your head round and the same ideas exist in cubase and logic just less obviouse unless you know what your looking for (my opinion.) i digress, high rankin uses Fl so there for its fine.
plus im more noob for not realising only the bassline had been alterd... .

for massive altho you may have to skip thru chapters, found some interesting things in here. plus has basic sub bass patch (altho a comment on DSF i read said not to use massive for subbass but to go for a simpler synth, when i read the comment it made sense in that subbass has NO harmonal frequencies it is all mechanical, as in to say you dont hear sub bass you feel sub bass, so a simple osc would be ideal as its the cleanest. ) <--- this is all opinion not fact btw, Albino 3 has always been nice with my sub ive found.

http://www.youtube.com/user/thesoundtutor

(plus some tips on gettin bass n sub bass to mix)

^^

@nicorisan , really liking the mood on this, those begining bassline lines seem maybe abit too punchy? but then perhaps thats what your going for, maybe increase the attack alittle but then that boomy ness is quite nice just seems to have a bit of mid range kick stuff about it, altho u said u hadnt eq'd yet? Plucked strings and reverd percusion aounding nice, all in all really good stuff.

@nnny, really like how this progresses and evolves, wasnt too sure on it at the beginign but once all the elements were in place i really liked this. good work!

-e303 update.. Gone back to giving the synths some "love"

@alexvont : kick sounds nice with my sub up ^^ , thought the wobbles were going to fast after 0:58 but like how they slow down for the synth to come in. nice. Drops nice, sounds good. The background pad/strings are nice too. Maybe try throwing in some really slow wobbles? all i can suggest else seems good to me.

@saharadubstep : liking the minimilist intro, the build ups sweet, i really like the tune but it just rolls into the drop, which isnt a bad thing i guess. Turned up my system to get the best out of it ,, really liking it maybe some variation on the beat between 0:47 & 1:00 . . maybe abit of variation on the synth bass after 2nd drop (like at 1:21 have it stay at the higher note instead of coming down, pause then play again) ..

@corey goes rarr : interesting intro, good energy makes me think dark happy hardcore drop, . nice intro but the higer blipybloops are abit much for me, lol lawn sample, nice , like it after this fuzz bass is nice solid, blipyblops abit slower (or ive gotten used to them by now ;))

@Saharadubstep - I like your track post-drop, but I'm not a huge fan of your build up. I do like the intro though. It's nice and eerie. I don't think you should introduce your lead sound or melody at all until after the drop, or if you do then change the sound a bit. You could make it nice and glitchy then drop into smooth synthitude :) It sounds to me like your sub is at a good level, although I don't have the best speakers for hearing it. I love your drums. There isn't much I can think of to make them sound better. I'd like to hear some different sounds in there. Not switching all the time but just to add emphasis on certain notes. A few dropouts to just the flute would be cool, although you'd have to do it just right for it to not sound shit. I reckon a B section would do this track some good, switch up the drums, use the same synths playing a different melody but with a few extras thrown in for good measure. Really looking forward to hearing a full version of this.

@alexvont12 - I posted feedback on that track a few days ago and it doesn't really sound like much has changed since I heard it, although I could be mistaken. I can't really think of anything I'd change about it, I love it.

@CoreyGoesRawr - This track sounds awesome now :) Great work. I really like the intro. The lead sounds are great and I like that they haven't got any LFO modulation. I don't think the 'Get off my lawn' sample works very well at the moment. Everything comes back in at the wrong time. Maybe you could stick some delay on the word 'lawn' and have that trail off in triplets for the rest of the bar until you can bring everything back in and have the head-banging slot back in perfectly. That's pretty much my only gripe about this track at the moment. Nice one man.

This is hopefully the last version of this track I do before I start properly mastering (although I am thinking of toning down the delay on the synth parts messing with the mix a little). Thanks in advance for any feedback, I'll post feedback on your track if I haven't already.

@jakedubber Sick tune, sounds big, sub kicks nicely awesomely done. Be interesting to hear the final mix on this ^^

@Nicorisone : Really digging the vibe on this, really chill with nice sounding elements, The bassy sound sounded abit upright for me, maybe longer attack, but thats only my opinion as i also like that kick quality it has about it. Plucked strings are really nice, maybe the nice percussion could be brought up in volume slightly altho they do sound nice in the background. Really diggin it.

how are the drums?

is it too loud?

get rid of part 1:00 to 2:00ish ?

@Fbac - Thanks for the quick feedback. I like your drums. It's really nice that it isn't particularly drum and bassey or dubsteppy, but your own thing. The whole track is actually really competently produced. The mix is nice, everything is nice and loud without being too compressed or limited. The only real thing I'd change is the sub. It needs transposing down an octave, and maybe a 1/4 saw down LFO wave on the volume and filter frequency so it isn't so constant. Really nice work man :D

@antman - You really need to post at least three pieces of feedback when you post a track. If you don't then no one really has an incentive to post feedback on your's. Anyway, here's some feedback (I'm a nice guy :)). This is surprisingly good for your second track. I suppose looking back, the difference in quality between my (or anyone's really) first track and second is immense. I like the melody, but it sounds a little weird. I'm not the person to ask if it's in key or not but I'll just assume that it is for now. To be honest your track really cracks me up. Not in a mean way, but it sounds like what I'd have to call clownstep. It's really cheery in a terrifying, don't touch my family sort of way. I like it. Try halving the speed of your drums and not going so nuts on the snare in the build up to the drop. I like the synth sound you've got going on after the drop. I did a quick slice/copy/paste job on your track to mess with your track's structure and drums. If you like it then try and do that sort of thing, but it's totally a personal taste thing. Hope this helps. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LDBDXBDF

Thanks jakedubber . And sorry. I didn't know it was 3 feedback per track. When I update the song and repost I'll leave 3 feedback. But anyway haha yeah I guess it is a bit clown sounding. I like it though. And I like what you've done with the song in your upload. I'm gonna make a few changes and repost. Thanks again man :)

sounds link the sub either has to much high end or is to low in the mix or maybe a lil of both but it stands out

Soundcloud so i did a lil work on the mix down as everyone was saying and tried layering the strings a lil but now i cant get it to sit right so im thinking about taking the layers back out let me know what you think

Probably the best comment I've ever seen.

@antman- crazy track with some more love and time you will have something very unique  with your "clown car" bell try just a slight variation here and there so its not too repetitive . on your wubs at the end you are headed in the right direction it might help to automate your lfo's to give a little spice.(check youtube if you dont know how :) it took me some time to figure it out lol) anyways I'm really excited to hear the final product on this man.

Fbac- nice happy sounding intro :) your percussion really pumps out some energy its nice. I would say leave 1:00-2:00 just tweak it a little like jakedubber said.

alexvont12- nice intro, really work on your levels it seems like its peaking and getting muddy at some points. after your drop at 1;54 I would stop the panning from left to right and keep your wobble centered and maybe bring it back in later but that's just imo. nice track though keep workin.

jakedubber- say what again! lol your aye caught me off guard at :38. nice bass man its huge really well put together track.

five-ohh-what- really nice you mixed it very well. If you were talking about the strings on the up beats they seemed fine to me but I'm not the most experienced.

thanks everyone for the feedback. I will see what I can do about that lawn sample maybe adjust that whole segment lol thanks jakedubber.

@saharadubstep Holy shit man loving the tune! Excellent work.

@alexvont12 Wow thats pretty sick. I would add a part that simply slows everything down for a bit instead of the constant quick wah wah noise you have there. Pretty nice though!

@Fbac For me, the drums are too loud. Other than that its a sick track.

And finally here is the "Clown Killer" Since everyone says it reminds them of clowns HAHA! Im not sure if I can consider it a finished track. I varied the wobbles and stuff. Lemme know what you guys think of what ive done with it!

@five-ohh-what - I really like the mix in your track. It doesn't sound like anything's too loud. You could have some more sub in there, to give it that really dubby feel. Also I think the classic, automated delay on the snare would sound great in this. Reasonably short feedback, about 30% wet and just automate the speed of the echoes. That'd sound lovely :) Apart from that, I can't really think of anything that needs fixing, adding or changing.

@antman - Yeah, that's sounding much better. I reckon you could change up the drums after the drop, so they don't sound so constant and looped. If (just for a bar or two) you took out the hi-hat and put the drums to a really typical dubstep rhythm - bass / break / snare / break / bass / break / snare - and keep your lead sound the same it'll sound awesome. It really adds emphasis to your wobbles, without fully taking away the rhythm of the drums. I like the LFO automation you've got in there, but I reckon some of the changes in speed could happen a little faster. I'll post more feedback onto your next upload so you aren't weighed down with a crazy amount of suggestions.

The hat sound in the intro is a bit too bright. In the main mix, it's fine as it's got the other elements around it, but before the 54s mark it's a bit too stark and obvious.

The main wobble bit in the middle is nice, and works well with the choir sound progression. However, it needs a bit more variation toward the latter part of the main body of the tune to make it a bit more interesting.

Good sounds overall though :4:

Feedback will be coming, but it will have to wait till I get off work. No worries there, I've been posting in these things for awhile I know what needs to be done.

I haven't actually posted anything in these for a little while, but this is the second track I've started in January, the first one is a collab so it's taking a bit longer. This is not dubstep, sorry, it's more ambient/chillout than anything.
