I never go there tbh. Probably because nearly every thread is a nub asking people to tell them how to make something generic instead of someone showing you a technique they discovered. It's basically too needy and doesn't give anything back. I guess I could go read the oldest threads that already have replies but ehhh. I'd rather just sit in my rocking chair and give that section the grumpy side-eye.

My Nu Leng are quite good, can't deny the power of some of their bangers.

If 130 ever goes big they'll be the biggest name in it, even though they're only halfway a part of it.

Might switch to Ableton for a while. Automation clips + macros + drum racks are hella tempting.

Sunk dude I am way too ducking drunk to argue why you should use reason. But do it

Dude not a chance. Reason is fun to play with but not streamlined. No VST is such a ridiculous dealbreaker I'm surprised anyone uses it at all.

I use it to make beautiful sounds that some people classify as "music"

yeah it's the daw war thread for this shit. but reason is catching up with the new rack extensions. The wost valuable shit over trillions of vsts is STABILLITY. Reason never crashed once because of some poorly written vst that you import when you have half of your tune laid in the arrangement. That's the main shit. The rest can be done but hard.... the essential is that they can be done.

I'm fucking annoyed by SC and their "oops something went wrong" page, on 90% of the links I open. What the fuck is with that crap? SC is having serious issues. And sometimes the embedding is crap and it's their fault. It shouldn't receive so much credit...

Yeah but you can avoid that by not being dumb and installing sketchbag vsts.

I've been getting that soundcloud page a lot lately too.

Got a good balance going today, alternating between listening to podcasts, reading, emails and developing the ideas I had over coffee & cake yesterday 8)

Just got my Sennheisser HD201's delivered to the office as I am sick of my piddly little Sony's, have to say the sound quality is a massive improvement, but they are so bloody quiet!!

Can't you drag them directly into ableton to load em? Lotta free vsts have issues with random hosts but ableton's pretty popular so you'd expect it to work.
