Was looking for a wee bit of feedback on the first two tunes infact :D
Just listened to "Way Back When". I like the drum sounds and programing a lot. The movement on the chimey pads are also very nice, especially the kind of dissonant minor move at the end of each 16 bars. The track has a nice moody feel to it. I think it needs a little more low end on the bass and a little less reverb.

Also, I think it could use another lead sound to give the track a bit more focus. But I like it alot. Thanks for sharing.

Snidely used samples from the DSF 10 Comp. sample pack, but it doesn't qualify for an entry because of other samples used and also synths.
Check it out anyway, it's entitled 'Shot Up' on me myspace...

Hey Aftee. I listened to Sound Killer. The vocals seems a bit out of tune with the instrumental at the beginning. The bass is nice and big and the drums sound nice as well. I think some sidechaining and automation can get the track to breathe a little more. I also might put some distortion on the higher frequencies of the bass. I think it is arranged well, just needs a little movement I think.

Cheers.

Also, I mistakenly posted my tracks in a separate thread instead of here. Anyone willing to give me some feedback on a couple of tunes.

check my myspace page www.myspace.com/circus0fmind
Check out either "Pierced Horizons" or "Stereonucleosis"

Thanks.

thanks thanks, I can't really give feedback technical wise as I'm not all into that stuff haha

i'd say pierced horizons sounds nice but it just seems too empty, some atmospheric sounds, pads, or fx here n there would be nice, not sure if it's finished or what

stereo is much better

when I loaded your myspace first track that played was the last one, wobs at the beginnin sounded sick

you've got really nice sounds on all your tracks but I just think they sound too minimal, if you threw some bullshit in to kind of fill space they'd sound much better than they already do, you've got some skill no doubt about it though

Thanks brother. That's good advice. After taking some time away from my tracks I also feel they need a bit more ambience, fx, etc. I will look into adding some more "stuff" to fill in the cracks.

Yeah man, we can bust em out live. Live set up is 3 macbooks hooked up via midi. Some hardware synths, some soft synths and Ableton. Everything is played live but the beats. We got a singer who goes through a load of hardware effects (Boss Slicer, TC Helion multi effects) and a guitarist with a pedal board so big you could fucking live on it.

Like i said man, if anyone wants an mp3 sending out, pm me innit.

Safety!

Really liking the track bro.

Give us a shout if you ever want to hook up a bit of a collabotration. I'm part of a collective in Manchester called "This City Is ours" and we have a fair few people involved. it's also a night starting in September with a Dubstep/ Electronica/ Experimental Hip Hop sorta policy.

Anyways hit me up if you ever fancy putting some music together.
