you think I'd be anywhere near a place where that could happen? I dont pretend to be some road man like have this place... I know Im middle class white boy theres no need for me to try and act tough and all #urban.
Maybe you should
Also fyi mans isn't pretending, I am the biggest roadman in Brighton. Man like me has 6 different shotting phones and at any 1 time I am guaranteed to be wearing a minimum of 4 stoney/gucci garments
You dont have to dress like a roadman just dont buy the most horrible clothes, you can look classy and rich for sure but pink shirt and boat shoes is not the way

real deal vs illmaculate. pretty good battle. real deal dropped a tier in my estimation with the shit he cam in his second round. ill killed it.
daylyt vs aye verb. the most controversial battler against imo one of the best writers/performers in the game. daylyt kept out the gimmicks this battle and rapped his ass off. verb came with some of his better shit but his rounds seemed a bit short, seems like he's in it for the cheque , still his writing was on point.
dizaster vs cassidy. Mr chicken vs the guy who ripped apart canibus' legacy. I enjoyed this cos * poss spoler* he's such a great performer yet an arrogant prick claiming that street life one minute and having teenage hissy fits the next. cassidy showed that street cats from the golden era can, if a lil archaic, still hang with the current crop.
marlo & shuffle t vs dialect & zen. my favorite in thing in battle rap at the moment shufflo are a breath of fresh air. not there best match up but they still are undeniably the greatest thing to happen to battle rap in years, english, middle class and proud. I was surprised at zen and dialect though. there second round grime scheme was fire!
conceited vs b magic. one of the most anticipated battles ever. wordplay and style incarnate the pair went back and forth in a highly debatable battle. both pulled out the big guns and the crowd and vibe helped this be one of the battles of the year.
daylyt vs serius jones. not seen this all the way through yet. its from one of the biggest events of the year and the crowd werent all that. a good example of how a shit crowd can ruin a performance on the night. still from what I seen bars on deck, and serius jones is a legend making his first comeback since getting spark-o'd by math hoffa.
another great battle maybe made not as great by the venue/stage/crowd/mic situation. two vets going at each other was good but Im not sure there styles clashing had the potential of a classic. worth a watch imo.
also not mentioned as Ive not seen. conceited vs bigg k, aktive vs big t, danny myers vs heartless and qp vs johnny storm.
a damn good week for the culture. that plus the announcements of the kotd blackout battlers coming out and all being strong is happy times for competitive spoken poetry enthusiasts
