tbf i couldn't care less about how he prices his products if it didn't influence the marketdickman69 wrote:idk why ppl get so mad about tanmushimushi

everyone is on about how dubstep is dead, yet every releases from some labels always sell out in matter of days, if not hours (or even minutes) so either it's more popular than ever, either there's a bunch of people who suddenly think that every other limited release is worth triple the price it was bought for (which seems to be indicated by the discogs upload at crazy prices usually following the release of a big tune, sometimes even before the 12" is actually released)
having to spend entire days refreshing webpages to make sure that you won't have to pay extortionate prices is a bit tired so yeah, i'm not gonna cry over the fact he seemingly got banned from discogs, though i'm afraid now the damage is done (also whoever was on in some other thread about how its the other sellers who play the market more reasonably but still markup the price of their records that are worse, nailed it)
Re: things that have made you happy today
Yeah, never bothered me TOO much, but iirc, one of the rules of discogs is that if you're selling outside of discogs too, you can't charge more on discogs. Sure he's got a physical shop, doubt he was charging £800 for Midnight Request Line there. Could well be that rule was repealed though.dickman69 wrote:idk why ppl get so mad about tanmushimushi

Re: things that have made you happy today
slightly waste but here goes,
me and my mate started listening and playing dubstep about 3 years ago and the general reaction was 'eurgh' and it seems to be the fashionable thing in town atm with house over b8ed, medi sold out in half hour (some chick that im certain hated it told me she cried when she didn't get a ticket lool) and party last night was all 140 with people going mad for it
it would be a stretch to credit this all to man but i do feel very intelligent rite now

^yeah word mate
The heavier stuff goes down really well over the past 18 months, anything by Kahn, Commodo etc or any classic Skream/Tempa gets just as big a reaction at small raves/parties ive played at as ze garage bangers

Three years is not long ago though. It was largely abandoned around that time.
For good reasons imo.

Re: things that have made you happy today
certainly not, been a decade since it all got going, bound to come back into fashion eventually, system and innamind getting hype for dubstep that's acceptable for music press,
but couple years back threw a party, played some tunes and had some briz djs play dubstep all night, from then on it felt acceptable to have dubstep at a party and me and my mate started doing sets out, this has now gone from being acceptable to very popular and i'm feeling a bit smug tbh
u don't have to believe me on any of this it is the internet after all and these are my friends and acquaintances that u don't know
