i like this a lot....the colors are really deep...
one bit of constructive criticism....take the lens flairs aside from the center ones and play with the perpective.... the light is coming from the distance and angling the lights from lining them up from ||| to /|\ will add depth to the lighting how the change in colors adds depth to the buildings.
i hope i explained that ok.
if thats the lens flair filter the whole way then.....my b...

Yeah the lens flare is a little overkill really. I played with having it softer and positioning it from the top right corner too. Dont know why I chose the centre?
The buildings were coloured in a lighter shade to purvey a sense of distance. I don't really do much artwork by hand these days, so I have a lot to learn and improve on!
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it!

it doesnt matter if you or anyone else thinks your work is good or bad, as long as you are doing it. thats all that matters.

point valid when you are doing it as a hobby
when youre using art to make money....you must appeal and adapt.

it is a horrible situation to find yourself in aint it.
thats why i only work on projects that interest me with people i can relate to/connect with and that i can stamp my own style on.
it means i dont do as much work as i like to or earn nearly nough as i could do, but i am infinitely more happy.
which for me is more important.

well then that is admirable.... cuz you enjoy what you do...theres nothing worse then doing something and end up hating it but do it anyway.

yeh!
for a school assignment we have to come upw ith a logo animation and 3 animations for on a festival. So naturally I chose DmZ! haha
so before starting with the animations, I wanted to do some sort of an art direction first. This would be one of the posters, I will be designing more of these robotics...
so what do u guys think of the direction im goin in?
does it fit the dubstep crowd or?
cheers!
