lots of people say that if you don't like stuff, you should ignore it and pay attention to stuff that you do like. I can get with that idea, I try to do it myself, I think it's far more productive and less arsey.
BUT why do people who say that post in threads they don't like about how they don't like those threads? Can't you just ignore it and post in a thread you DO like instead?

Moaning on a forum won't change the way he makes his tunes. Go and listen to stuff you like instead so you don't have to waste time moaning. Makes perfect sense. Big up Tes la rok!!DaTilt wrote:This guy has so much talent. For example his remix for Von D on Black Acre was big and deep. Had today a listen on "Whats The Device" and thought: Fuck, why o why does he produces that wobble-only stuff of which we already have thousands of tunes? And theres much more stuff from him in this style in the last months. Hope the wobble is over soon, it has become such a boring and frustrating element in the last years. Especially da wobble-only tunes without any other elements. Cant stand that crap.

tes is a BIG man behind the buttons, and I'm not sure about the motive behind this thread, but it needs to be said that this alarming rise in hysteria, over anyone being critical or making criticisms about tunes or sounds is getting a bit much. people need to stop being so emotional about things. message boards are here for discussion, not hysteria. if you can't stomach having your own tunes criticised, or your mates tunes criticised, then its time to find another hobby. art needs an audience, and that audience has a right to react to the art being presented. fullstop.
big up tes everytime, and wobbles or no wobbles, his production skills are BIG.
seckle, I do agree with you partially, although I also feel that your reaction to criticising critizism seems a bit hysterical in a sense as well.seckle wrote:thank you! someone using some common sense.Slothrop wrote:Serious question here, I would appreciate an answer:jason burns wrote:there's only one thing more boring than wobbly dubstep tunes.....people who complain about wobbly dubstep tunes.

To me this seems like a waste thread sparked by ignorance - the original poster only mentions a couple of tunes and really doesn't seem to have any wider picture of what kind of stuff Tes produces and plays out. Considering that he is one of the key factors in why dubstep parties in Finland have always been fresh, filled with variation of styles, it just strikes me as ridiculous starting a hate thread about Tes and wobble.
And to Slothrop: I myself usually do ignore threads like these and tend to focus on the brighter side of dsf, but since there seems to be a wobble hunt of some sort going on on this forum I feel it should be only fair that threads like these were based on some actual information.
why do people hate wobble with a passion so much anyways? there's an abundance of sick fuckin tunes out there I don't see why somebody would pass them up just because of some wobble?
