ok where to start eh??

heny g and cyrus both played seriously nice deep sets - love the way heny bounced smoked and grinned continuously throughout - a positive force!

i draw a bit of a blank when yunx played.. i think it was around this point things got silly so i had to leg it about talkin to any poor bastard that would listen (hold tight unlikely & lettie!)

tbh, like blackdown said, i thought loefah & mala were a little subdued compared to usual and pokes was a little quiet.. but then he did look like that photo! lol
poax wrote:no herr bluebeat , your theory was correct. there was a major kink in the whole weight ting. but you have my word it has been well and truly ironed.
ahh seen! wondered why i didnt need my earplugs..!

then i had to run off again and use the old chris fresh charm to convince the bouncers to let my mate back in as theyd, quite literally, picked him up and chucked him out when they found him asleep 2hrs previous! (i mean ok it is a bit of a crime havin a disco nap durin dmz but he was only muggin himself lets face it.. in his defence he'd been graftin none stop for 6 days followed by an 8hr journey to get to london - man deserved a kip)

joe nice banged it up as we all knew he would, what a total star you are! man finished his set, walked off the stage and gave my mate who'd been asleep a big hug - gwan show love!
(btw joe did play at least one jack sparrow beat but i cant help but not know which one it was - sorry jack, by that point i was completely useless!)

but for me it was all about bengas set - man rinsed it dub for dub right til the end
plus he dropped both magnetic man dubs - so as promised i lobbed myself about like a total loon!

apologies for this but i gotta say yo to all i bent the ears off:
yes mala & loe (always total gents), coki (sorry man every time i talk to you, you end up tryin to run away from me!) & pokes (i saw you leave early tsh!); joe nice (you really are mate!) distance (real good to meet you finally!) & n-type (mate when i saw you i was fully ridin the wave of successful mental distortion!); kromestar (good to meet yr); and crazy d (what a souljah); blackdown; geiom (always a pleasure mate); metalbox & whistler (fuckin cool to meet you 2); $hy (yes mate, though i knew youd forget lol); unlikely & lettie (you pair are a joy to rant at) and kion; TRONMAN (oh my days fella!); and never forgettin the boomnoise (gwan soulja!)
and of course my family (anne fresh, hawkeye, necta, and android)
hold tight all the early mornin ravers!

sadly now though youre all only faces in a blur of an insane mind!

oh and big up anyone who bothers to read all of this post - your chest!

rant and the big DT ass kiss over. thank god for that!

Good night, thought it was a little subdued compared tp others. Cyrus played the best set I reckon, though everyone was good. Tune of the night:

A corking night indeed. CYRUS all the way for me, layers and layers of bass and sweet steady mixing...just built and built. Those kind of sounds can seriously alter your perception.

Left early (3/4 into DMZ's set) after too much Stella and pollen, plus had to get the missus to the airport. Sounds like I missed a lot though judging by the comments on Joe Nice and Benga.

Can't wait for the next one, or FWD for that matter...

Being quite new to this forum it was good to put a few faces to the names. Dubstep truly is a fine scene full of fine people. Bent the ear ditto Deep Thought. LOL . N-Type and Kode 9 got it from me. Also linked with Tronman over a zoot. Well safe bruv.

Look forward to seeing some of the crew at FWD on 17th Nov for me burfday. Zoots are on me....
