not assuming nathan. just going off what i heard. like i said respect. keep it moving.Plastician wrote:You're assuming that all the tracks are not structured.jah wobble wrote:the problem is not with the productions in themselves. its that these tracks probably weren't created with verse/chorus/verse vocals in mind so when the vocals are added there isn't much room for either to shine. it's like xzibit rapping over a d1 track trying to make it just a xzibit song. like i said before if either producer or vocalist came in with a mindset to create a song rather than just rap over/have someone rap over a track i think the outcome could be pretty dope. it's fine for a free release along the lines of what dj nappy was doing.-Dubson- wrote:adisize wrote:That's mePlastician wrote:I am certain there are a few tracks on there that will surprise some of the people who post so negatively on here about anything that doesn't sound like it was made on FL studio in 2004.![]()
was a bit of a sinical thing to say really..
respect for the hard work though.
The very track you're using as an example was structured specifically for Xzibit and U-N-I to vocal as you will hear when you can download the track.
People need to stop being so negative.

Prepare to be disappointed.... it's the madhouse instrumental and it's not greatcure wrote:Murs with Chase & Status? Crazy!

However, the pressing plant on their first release misspelt Mystikal Digitz

Fair enough being negative for the sake of it is waste but you can't blame people for the cynical stance given that all previous efforts at a dubstep/rap fusion have been well, shite. Preferring the origins of a sound as opposed to the commercial money making end is no bad thing either. Which lets be honest is what this dubstep rap thing is all about.Plastician wrote:

Excuse the plug lads but I started a blog recently and just wrote something on this. There are no ads on it or anything it's just not very motivating when you're writing shit and no-one's reading it... So if you've got a sec check out (and bookmark if you like) http://www.madfreshmusic.com

I was talking about the crossover in general terms not just this mix, thought that would have been obvious tbh. Do you think they have decided to jump on dubstep for the love of dubstep? Or for the money the sound is going to make them?jamesgarfield wrote:it's being given away for FREE, geniusdanoldboy wrote:Fair enough being negative for the sake of it is waste but you can't blame people for the cynical stance given that all previous efforts at a dubstep/rap fusion have been well, shite.
