exclusive new BURIAL on the show!!
yep, white labels are great. you pay full price for a product that cost half as much to produce, and you get no artwork or any info about the artist. thumbs up, i'm cool cuz you have no idea what this record is!seckle wrote:this is why there's a beauty about white labels.
it strips it all down to music as the main message rather than packaging, name association, legal dept's and strategic marketing.
dude, do you wear horned rim glasses? ironic logo t-shirts? studded belts? you sound a bit "indie." lighten up buddy.
ugh. why do you bother posting on this board?

It came out in 2003 on Arcola. No info whatsoever on the 12" of course. I'm surprised they got away with it.elgato wrote:feeling that brothomstates remix in quite a major way... and its coming out...?!!! some major sample clearance deyer
Not sure if I feel this new Burial remix or not, can't quite make up my mind about the vocals. Interesting direction to take nonetheless. That Reso tune however, oh my gosh.

lol i'm loving the anger here... If Burial doesn't appear on the front page of the News Of The World soon there's gonna be a civil wartone.def wrote:yep, white labels are great. you pay full price for a product that cost half as much to produce, and you get no artwork or any info about the artist. thumbs up, i'm cool cuz you have no idea what this record is!seckle wrote:this is why there's a beauty about white labels.

Actually, the lack of artwork for dubstep tunes is a slight tease for me - I love nothing more than a nice big 12" sleeve with cool artwork on it. Artists should stick together more - when musicians, visual artists and writers club together, they can really make waves. I guess the only issue is the splitting of the profits. But my favourite records are those with a nice visual side - do the guys who enthuse about white labels not care how their lady looks either?
